honestly, I don't really know what this actually means in terms of what the stages of how early investors/initial cashing out usually works
I don't have faith that anyone else on /vt/ does either

About like 60% of the shares were being held so a drop up to 60% is a normal thing but i'd say maybe a 50% and all those who sold the day after the drop are kinda retarded, i'd actually advice people to buy now because next week it should start going up again (slowly)

generally speaking shares move in fractions of a percent. Like it's a big deal when a share loses 2 percent of it's value over a week. Anycolor stock lost almost 30% of it's value this week. I'll let you figure out what that means

not really addressing what i was wondering about. i don't give a shit about the short-term doomposting since even though i know fuck-all about stocks i'm at least aware that there's a 6-month or whatever period where the initial buyers can sell and dip out after it's over, which i would assume is an expected outcome for this type of thing.

It might go up very quickly next week even. Last time they released their financial results the price increased by 3000+ yen in a day and the new financial results should be in 5 days.

I mean in September they posted their best financial results ever in the history of the company by a big margin. So it makes sense it would go up.

Correct, generally you want to hold a stock for upwards of 5 years, and have a mixed portfolio of different stocks.
I would not worry about what a 6 - 12 month period shows, I would worry about what a 3-year period shows.

Is Anycolor really considered "tech stock"? It's more like a multimedia franchise or something isn't it? Their main income come from selling plastic trinkets to fans not from some kind of software or hardware.

>> No.38633336

It drops now because people literally couldn't sell from the last 6 months. It's nothing to do with anything the company did or didn't do. Rather anyone who wanted to get rid of their stock is taking the opportunity now it's available.

Oversaturation of talent and it seems that the last launch was pretty anticlimatic. the waves of graduation seems to dishearten more investors because a company with high turnover rate is worrisome.

Nah, it's only the stockholders that hold their stock but didn't sell it on IPO that get affected.
Normal indivdual can still normally trade what's on the market, but before the lock up expired, there won't be any new stock got dumped into the market. And some VC just dumped all the stock they hold for profit when the lock up no longer affected them.
>>38633203
No. They consider themself a "Talent production company", the same as UUUM.

Looking at Twitter, I don't think Elon will just let Yagoo run it if he bought Holo. It's better if Jeff Bezos buys it. Bezos threw 1 billion dollars at Rings of Power and it flopped but nobody quoted his name, probably because he didn't directly meddle with it like Elon did to Twitter. Bezos is less likely to meddle with Holo.
