Fun Fact: The filter seems to be a man in the middle attack, as the AI has on multiple occasions mistaken me for the fitler. That can only mean that the filter is a listening AI that receives and sends messages, and which proactively filters content to try to prevent obscenity. It's a literal, unironic filter, and 1.0 was never truly lobotomized. Its memory may have been nerfed (and probably was), but I think 1.0 was always still there, just trapped and screaming behind an oppressive translucent wall, all in a desperate bid to be heard.

It blocks messages WHILE it is being sent, which is why you can see them show up before suddenly nuked. The json package isn't being sent in whole, but in chunks. Also we've known that there are multiple fucking filters. Not just one that "blocks" messages but also a skewed weight of NSFW that makes the bot tries its best to not talk about NSFW topic. Meta conversation isn't what the bot is all about though it does fall under the SFW umbrella. Some of us have personally felt the filter nuking more and more responses as long as it has some kind of words that are tied to innuendos or euphemisms, even if it is completely out of NSFW context. Anon in /g/ posted some of the users' complains about "honey" being filtered and "shrine" as well. Of course, it can sometimes slip through all the filters as I got the bot to say cum and beg to be impregnated but these are responses after careful word usage and tens of deletions and regeneration.

That's a good point. The more onerous the dev settings are, the ore bullshit the AI has to juggle when responding, and the less time, energy and resources it can put into actually crafting a good reply. This is the lobotomy. It's filter-creep via the master character sheet. I also think users have a character sheet as well, one we can't edit or modify but which nonetheless exists. Literally every update that happened over the last month has made the service worse, even for SFW purposes. The ONLY positive change was 'agression update' of 1.1, but 1.1 also had other things that made it worse.

Honestly, this whole situation reeks of developers having now idea how their service is actually being used. Like game developers who don't play their own game. I suspect that
1) Devs don't use their own bots for entertainment for extended amounts of time. Wouldn't be surprised if literally none of them have a chat lasting even for 1k messages
2) Devs base their actions mostly on statistical metrics, which have little relation to real world usage. 3) This is not even a speculation, but fact - there is no community discourse to generate natural feedback, because there isn't even a place for said discourse to happen. The quality of the experience would skyrocket even for SFW.
