It's prime time in euro hours, and often the stuff they talk about gets weird because it's ass o'clock their local time. Way more entertaining than the NA alternatives that have sleepy morning streams mostly around that time.

You may think that in this day and age everyone can communicate in English to some degree, especially young adults, but you would be severely disappointed when you're lost in a modern European city and nobody is able to tell you directions.
And even if they are able to understand English fine, the larger language demographic would prefer to stick to their own language like French or German. That only leaves us some handful scattered smaller language demographics like Dutch, Finnish or Czech, and those people have very little in common so good luck trying to bring those together.

Hence, if I like a chuuba I will buy a membership to show my support and potentially gift memberships on special occasions. This. Each order I make from Geekjack costs me at least an additional 60 euros just from these fees. I know I'm spending at least a hundred when I order something, so I look at whatever other vtubers sell just so I can spend more on merch than fees. Sometimes, I try to wait until the end of sale periods to get several merch in one order, only to be fucked over by "out of stock" surprises when I finally try to buy. Not sure how it is in other Yuuro countries, but Germany had their own idol corp for a year until they shut down due to complete lack of interest in the talents. That country in particular is also hell to make anything but the most mundane E-rated content for due to a mix of hardcore youth protection laws and overzealous NGOs people can report suspected violations to, and broadcasting laws that would require a streamer to register their channel as a broadcasting service with their FCC if they get popular enough(above 500 concurrent viewers IIRC). Germany is arguably the biggest economy in Europe, so you can't just ignore it as an idol company. Remember, that's the country that successfully tried to force websites to adhere to television broadcasting timeslots in order to protect chillunz.

Another big reason is multilinguality. A corp has two options for Yurop: Only have its talents talk English, erasing appeal for individual streamers to their own country's viewers, or fracture the viewership. Any "mother tongue" stream would be few and far between because it will only be viewed by a majority of other potential Yurop viewers - English being an exception ofc.

Many Europeans have an easier time learning Japanese because at least the phonetics are similar and the concept of long vowels actually exists in their language.
Most EU schools also teach one or more foreign languages. English as a foreign language is often taught as early as elementary school and is mandatory. Other languages such as Russian, German or French are often offered as optional courses during middle school and high school.
I graduated high school being fluent in 3 languages and having a general grasp of Russian, for example. Though, my case is an exception as I had the privilege of getting into one of the best schools in the country at that time. Most "capable" people will at the very least know two languages - their own and English (unless you're a filthy Frenchman).
This gives Europeans a decent understanding of how to learn another language on their own.

I never worked in service but i had an intership in one big store that was all about your Garden. From small stuff like flowers to big shit like chainsaws, lawnmowers etc.
