otsonny!! damn i guess its really heating up in aus, my love for sweaty gamer boys is overshadowed by my sympathy for him because i hate the heat too. glad to see him come back to darkwood today — he's never liked giving up on games just because they're challenging but he sounded truly fed up with some of the tedium of the mechanics last time. the first hour he did get kinda pissed getting killed by dogs a few times but that didn't set the mood for the stream too much as he got back into it. considering he's mostly just playing by trial-and-error outside of a few tips from chat, a lot of this game is walking, fighting, bartering and waiting. comfy for the viewer and stressful for the streamer :sonnyNipaa: he did unlock the old woods hideout but didn't stick around long after getting instantly swarmed by dogs. meandering a bit more and making his way back to the wolfman we finally made some more progress in the story (VA tskr) and were sent over to the doctor's, where he spent a good few minutes trying to figure out how to get in the building, looked up a guide, and then discovered far too late in the game you can press the spacebar to go through windows. cue more puzzles and some guesswork and finally, he found the doctor and merc'd his ass to get the big key back. he did not, unfortunately, make his way to the underground to use said key this time, prioritizing a half-decent bedtime over finishing part of a game. he almost sounded mildly dejected hearing there was still a chapter 2 to do as well... here's hoping he'll come back and see it through to the end next week!
