That gives an average of 139 days from the audition tweet being posted to the first new wave from it debuting.

Keep in mind HoloX is shilled heavily in JP but it also is highly dominant in SCs and its girls do better than most other JPs save for the hallowed top-shelf group (peko, marine, shuba etc). Latest and greatest etc. So EN3 would be the thing to turn the fortunes around hence all the more reason they should put it out. The idea that if Council got off on the wrong foot EN3 is guaranteed to be bad as well is definitely off, given how HoloX is doing I think generally better than Gen5 was at this point. I would think Tempus is a big risk of fucking it up however if they hire 5 Moris/Kroniis, and they're way more likely to do this than find Guras/Iryses/Faunas etc. But we don't know for sure until they roll them out.

If EN3 is a bunch of normalfags who don't know shit or care about Holo and ride Tempus dick, yes, I'd say stick a fork in the EN branch, it's done. However we don't really know how it'll turn out until it's here, and given how it seems Tempus has for whatever reasons kind of shied off of co-ed collabs, the girls seem to be guided towards being nicer lately etc, there may be some oversight trying to correct things after all.

the EN market is hit more strongly by the post-cough loss than JP. i think the approach is to focus on the core market for now and push holoX like crazy while fridging EN to regenerate hype potential and work out background stuff (read: Tempus fallout, dealing with the hort and the rip).
we'll see an uptick with the Japan travel this month and holoFes in March, so it wouldn't be surprising if they'd use the attention for a third gen somewhere in Q1.
