Oh lord what if Vesper's suspension was actually because he kept telling Gura she needed to actually stream and use twitter (the old man hates it as much as her but still uses it) to explain if shes streaming or not and she got put off before realizing he was right.

For all that's holly, at least stream once a week Gura.
It's december and there is nothing to watch from HoloEN.

As a non-chumbud just trying to be objective, I sure hope she dials it down just a bit. Trying to change things too suddenly is just asking for burnout. Just change your bad habits bit by bit, one at a time.

i don't understand why she's still here if she hates streaming so much. i genuinely don't. just graduate and become a normal youtuber and release videos at your own pace. you already have enough money to live comfortably for the rest of your life without a care in the world.

If she enjoyed streaming she would stream.
Money isn't an issue for her anymore so she wants to do what she enjoys. Which isn't streaming. Not sure when their contracts are up but I'd expect gura and ina to possibly duo-graduate with ame going next.

how much money has she made? I doubt it's anywhere near enough to retire off of. If she was her own person streaming on youtube/twitch then sure she'd be rich, but there's a 3rd party involved.

>> No.38234150

>>38233996
To be fair, that would be the reason she’s broke if she’s broke. Boogie bought a Tesla shortly before *he* went broke, and we know that plenty of lottery winners and other people who suddenly end up with a lot of success unexpectedly don’t know how to handle that kind of money.
Like, I don’t think she *is* broke. Just, what you’ve listed really doesn’t tell us much either way.

>> No.38234187

>>38234061
Retirement? Who said anything about that? All I said is she could live off it, which takes far less money.

>> No.38234274

>>38234061
That third party is also responsible for handling merchandising. Merch is important enough that vshojo (according to kson, at least) is incorporated solely in order to handle merch deals. And it’s Gura. Whatever cut of her superchats the company takes is more than made up for by her cut of the sales of all her plushies and figurines and shit.

>> No.38234556

>>38234061
She got at least 3100 individual shrimps from the likes on the recent members posts. That alone amounts to 31000 monthly income. One third goes to youtube, one third to cover and last third to her, even after taxes she still makes at least 8k net a month from members alone. Then there's the supas and the ads (same percentage) and there's events that aren't streams like the fests and voice acting for mobile games. Last but not least there's the merch. All of this combined makes her at least as much as membership does so in the worst case scenario her monthly income is still 16k net. Considering she just hit her 3rd year of work in hololive, her earnings should amount to almost 600k total.

Don't forget she also has a twitch whose numbers are unknown and passive income from HER old channels.

>> No.38235444

>>38234556
That's way less than what she used to have. At the beginning she had like 14k. I bet that's a big morale killer for her. Either way she can sit on her ass and the money will still be good.

Vesper would be smart enough to realize he can't name people specifically but it's possible he criticized management for failing to manage and letting chubbers go awol randomly.

>> No.38235588

>>38233996
It's all about sustainability. If she's spending more than she makes on credit or her income drops (less superchats, less memberships or merch sales), then yes she can absolutely go broke or be in the negatives and have to dip into her savings.
