It was never designed in a way to allow for ducktyping/modular additions so it's just shitty. SS13 works because it is written in a lua-like sandboxed language that allows for easy additions and changes. unitystation doesn't do that at all. This is also why all the ss13 remakes fail.

I was randomly watching one of her KOTOR vods which had the comments disabled. In it, she was using a completely different model that switched back to her regular one with a little glitch effect. Only one or two people in the chat acknowledged it and she didn't at all. I haven't seen that model since, can someone elaborate on this deep android lore for me?

Second model is actually supossed to be the original Onolumi. Jacob, the artists somewhat famous for his work on Dusk and recently Gloomwood did a comic about her origins:

The normal model is actually one of the "dolls" or avatars that is used by original Lumi to study bots. Original Lumi was dubbed as Alter Lumi by the bots since the first appearance and jacob run with this name for his comic.
Darth model is the only one without any appearance in the lore so far.
Lumi also makes it difficult by not aknowledging different models and claiming that she's still the same Lumi and bots are just "overheating and running out of RAM" when they see something different.

Same problem. The way these are being made is taking what is a mod and then formalizing it. Development speed of these repos will never exceed that of ss13 proper because they lack the benefit of dm script.

Under analysis SS13 shows up twice in the top 50 interconnected repos on github when it comes to contribution. People call it spaghetti but very very very very few repos out there have held up under 10,000+ accepted pull requests.
It goes to show that although heavily memed, dm script (or lua) actually work at a high level and are great for modding.

I gotta be honest, I love onolumi in theory and I'm even a member (for $1). But I have trouble actually watching her streams. They're so long, and she takes forever to get anywhere in the games, and she doesn't talk enough to hold my attention. I like the games but I'd rather just play them myself. And for games with a story it feels wrong to just watch some of her streams and miss the rest, but I'm not going to sit through 47 streams of Baldur's Gate or whatever. I pretty much just watch her for a few minutes, feel happy that a woman like her exists, fantasize about marrying her, and then switch over to a more high-energy streamer.

I was also thinking this but for a different reason. The color is different from all the others and it's called "bug", so I think it's the mistake she mentioned. A missing letter (i.e. space) could be considered a mistake/bug if all the other bots have a letter. I just don't see a logical way to map the words and colors into letters.
