I didn't get to complain about it at the time because I copped a 24 hour ban for being "off topic" (read: mods are fags and don't care if you're off topic in ways that they approve of but 100% punish nobody who is off topic on subjects they agree with) so I apologize but I wasn't able to get it off my chest until now.
I'm still kind of disappointed in the way so many people dominated the Nene song request stream with the 50 dollar donos. What really sucked is some of them were songs she had sung a half dozen times before and she did one song twice. Which on it's own isn't a huge huge deal but there were priority spots donated a full hour and a half after normal queue requests (including mine) and got sung before they (including mine) did. I wasn't trying to buy a priority spot for a second runner up stream for mopping up leftovers, y'know what I mean? It just looks like she wasn't even trying to be mindful about the audience and combined with the last second doubling in request price it felt like the point was to milk people considering she didn't do anything to increase the price of the priority queue. It feels like I had to pay a poorfag tax or something.
I might have been able to shrug it off but I still haven't got any word on if my Nene daki is ever going to ship to the Buyee warehouse after ordering it over a month ago (I've already sent one email and all I got was a confirmation that they haven't received it yet)..
So I'm down almost $100 supporting Nene and have nothing to show for it. It just feels shitty. I didn't watch any of her streams today because I was too disappointed to really care.

It was mostly Nathan, Neme and Genesity chatting with Miryu at the time and honestly it seemed like a tight knit group of IRL friends. Like they knew each other for years. You dont often hear a chuuba adressing someone using their chat name. Whenever I get that inner circle vibe I just move on. And I dont want all attention to be on me, I like when everyone, or at least most of chatters are included...providing that they are not absolute retards.

Im really not. I think I mentioned this somewhere on /vt/ already, but I had a small 2view friend that had a similar problem with newcomers. It reached a point where mods never used their mod account to chat and even some members switched to non member accounts just to make it look more inclusive and not scare people off. And I swear to god it actually worked over time. Be honest, theres nothing worse that jumping into a chat with 40 members, and fucking at least 5 of them are mods and the rest are long time members.

Sure, I can see how it'd feel like you're jumping in as an outsider into a circle of friends, but there's not really a good alternative.
It's either nobody chats at all and the streamer feels alone / like they're doing something wrong, or people get over their social anxiety and chat more so it moves fast enough that even the biggest of autists don't feel awkward.

As I said in the other thread before we get raided. It's pretty much impossible for people here that watch her regularly to hate her, she's too nice. She's not /here/ but someone in the management that 100% is probably just tell them about critics and stuff because this is literally the only place that watch them that will do it.

From my memory she had 4 mods from the discord. Darkstar, Desankyo, Piraduex and Kawaiifans (this is the discord owner novem)
I saw Darkstar and Desankyo were demodded on her advice stream which is good because both of them chat too much. Kawaiifans was still modded so I assume they just made Psi Pegasi as an alt account they can mod on while chatting on their regular accounts.

Completely agree bro, trying to penetrate those groups feels like a giant waste of time. Reminds me of my honors program in college. Almost 80-90% of my classmates came from the same 4 or 5 specialized high schools, and when I was dorming they had already cliqued up by the first week. I did make an effort, but I was pretty much alone for the 2 years I dormed, and the few friends I had when I graduated were mostly from the regular student body. But then they moved away, and here we are.

It's hard to do something about it tho. Not naming people so it doesn't look like a closed group of friends and reading messages from the new anons that manage to say something seems like a good start.
There's also a problem with attention whore donos that can make this all go downhill. For example Kaela from holo that has one dude that spams 5 bucks donations to turn the stream into a chat between them. It isn't much of a problem for someone with big numbers but it's annoying and there's nothing they can do about it.

Yeah normally for big numbers it's not a problem, but Kaela's too nice; she reads every superchat pretty much live despite being a holo, so that dude is basically taking advantage. I think she has a good approach though because since she reads every super, you know she would treat everyone the same and it mitigates the problem
