It depends on the content.
I love longer streams when they fit and there's good interactions. Sometimes it can drag on too long and the content dips in value after long. However the inverse is also a problem. Sometimes streams can go too short and leave you feeling unfulfilled on whatever the concept was. In general I think the 3-4 hour mark is good for normal streams with the more infrequent 6+ hour streams alongside.
If you're asking for in one particular day I'd still say it depends on the content. Is it mixed content of gaming, zatsu, art, or single topic? Then we have to get into meta stuff like platform specifics in how Twitch is better for long streams while Youtube hates them.
So in conclusion I would prefer that my oshi would first pick a stable schedule for general day and time, and then choose content by interest and adjust schedule to fit what that content type is. Only issue I see is the differential start times on later streams but that's fine because it's good to force a bit of FOMO sometimes.
