The idea that women genuinely cares about me and wants to look after me is the appealing bit. Them telling me it’s okay means nothing unless they show it, and if those three case it’s “rubbing” my head or whatever.

I personally can partly evaluate a good relationship with someone if we’re able to sit and not talk without it “being awkward”.

For almost any advice and piece of encouragement, you can reverse it into the opposite and find that it's equally good advice for a different set of people. Some people would benefit from a bit of tough love and harsher self-criticism, but I would guess that most people who aren't happy with how their life is going would benefit from being kinder to themselves and allow themselves to have more positive thoughts.
