Its because Reine is an overlooked powerhouse when it comes to hours streamed. She doesnt engage in as much marathon streams like koyori or kaela, but she’s always in the top 5-10 of stream hours in holo giving us around 5-7 streams a week lasting for 2-4 hrs which always gives mep something to talk about. And because mep is used to having something to talk about and used to having a thread up meppers still keep it bumped even when Reine isnt streaming because… why not.

You say over-attachment but I think it's the exact opposite, that's what makes Reine 'Reine'. Compared to literally every other Hololive member, Reine is the ONLY one who draws the line in the sand and DOESN'T let us get over-attached.

People using them as their only emotional escape, because they are. They are their most loved one in the world. They don't have wives, girlfriends, but they are "Loved" by this person unconditionally, and all they have to do is give them 100 dollars to read their text? It's a cycle, you get so fucking HAPPY from them reading it, hell you are probably crying with her if she starts crying, we've all seen it. Those clips are everywhere.

Look at Kronii's ASMR 12 hours ago for a perfect example. Dozens of Red Superchats all talking about their darkest shit, unloading it on a woman they actually love. Then you people like M--- who is one of the biggest users of the phrase "I love you" (E1. Https://streamable.com/by65j4)), and look at that terrifying die hard audience she has. Birthdays of her audience members is an excuse to give her money, it's legit terrifying to watch. It's not far from a cult, the feeling you get being loved by a God or Preacher or Magnetic Personality. Jim Jones would of made an amazing vTuber.

But Reine, the reason I like Reine is she refuses to let us get over-attached. She never responds with "i love you" and as you can see the Red Super chats she gets are never ever ever trauma dumping on her. She has established a great back and forth with her audience. The teasing, the ribbing, but she always makes us feel apricated without needing to emotionally trap us. That's why Reine is so great, but it's not because we are over-attached, it's the exact opposite. Watching Reine lets us be free.

How content do you think Reine is with her audience and place in Hololive? She clearly loves her job, but I worry about the amount of stress she is under and whether it is completely fulfilling on a personal level. Ever since she shared with us that her manager asked her if she was happy, and she realized she didn't have an answer, this has been bothering me.
