Don't risuners have their own timeline?

So India's got two lists for monsoon crops. Kharif crops you plant in autumn before the monsoon rains. Rabi crops you plant in late spring after the monsoon rains. Since India has a warm climate all year round these crops should be useful. Now if the region gets a freeze then we'll have to adjust crops for cold. That said I think unique biology via domestication can work out these unique quirks. Also tropical fruits imported from other regions can grow in the monsoon. We grow crops from different parts of the world where they don't belong all the time.

- rest of year: There is a great fear that Joyo Cahya will be harsh and purge many. But instead he extends his hand in clemency. He announces that it is not his duty to kill other Risuners, but to bring the change to the land that is needed. "I come not as a conqueror, but as a unifier. My name is only fear by those who desire to divide us; who desire to keep us a people and nation under the shackles of foreign powers." Now it is time for the internal reforms, and the reconstructing of the nation, now known as Kekaisaran semua Tupai (Empire of all Squirrels) into a proper state.

Some thoughts on Monsoon ranching. Horses and cattle don't really handle the monsoon jungles well. Jungles don't really have good grass for bovines and horses to graze naturally. Jungles are where chickens come from. They are called jungle fowl. Also boars and warthogs can thrive in the jungle with edible bugs, small animals, fruits, and leaves. Monsoons at least in Asia is home to primates, especially monkeys. There are other hunting game. Anything you can find in India and Asia you should find here from tigers to elephants.

Though for /2434/ specifically your hunting herbivores will be in the drier grassland plains. You can still have grain-fed cattle for milk. Depending how the equator shifts I can't say what is where exactly. Just going by what your current climate map is.

Yea, those were just randomly left over when I was scribbling the layer, and I decided to keep them in as bigger valleys. You could put a lake in there if you want to. If you don't like them, I can also remove them, it's like 30s of work.
And yes, all the little breaks in the layers represent valleys. I found it easier to do that than to manually put in hills that would go over into the next layer.

What if they are responsible for different branches of the government? The king has most of the executive power, but the Temple of risu and rishamate are the judicial branch (supreme court) and legislative branch (Congress).
This way, the country can make quick efficient decisions through an empowered executive, but the existing culture and values of risu are overseen by a theological authority.

I think the word here is Emperor, it has alot of association with other concepts that already paint an image of what it would be like with an Emperor on the Risuner throne. Maybe change the title to a personalized thing that makes the term seem like its own thing, like Divine Ambassador of Nut or Regal Nut Authority. It would be rather manpower-intensive, so it would be difficult to outfit a whole village with them, I'd compare it with making a fancy gun purely by hand, or a piece of lobstered plate armor, in terms of springs, joints and running fits needed. More surprising would be for a village smith to have come up with the design in a village that doesn't have a long tradition of mechanical design. I think the initial "patent" would probably have come from one of the more metropolitan cities.

Palkyries would! I read that skiers used to use only one pole back then so them using their tail to hold it would give them two hands to hold anything they might need (like weapons) although things like fighting and loading guns might still be too intensive to be done while skiing
Humans and elves would be a bit more limited in that regard since they don’t have tails, but would it make sense to say one of the inspirations they had for the boot buckle’s them seeing palkyries use their tail to take off their skis? You really dont. They are basically just strong clamps that hold the boots in place. Putting them on is just pressing the boot in place, and taking them off is as simple as stepping on the back, where the clamp is, and pressing it down to release the boot.

With the quick-release buckle, as Cunt says it's just pressing a divot on the buckle, easy to do with the stick or tail.
Before someone came up with the quick release buckle mechanism though, they would have used some kind of leather strap binding tying the boot to the ski. I think you would need two or three fingers to operate these though, you'd have to at least pull on the strap to relieve tension to be able to unbuckle it.
