I really think as part of her final push to full-time streaming, Nina should really try to get better at chat engagement. I think this plays into her playing favorites. Her chat isn't great for bouncing off so she ends up favoring the ones she can work with easily.
But her relying too much on a select few discourages new people from stepping up. It'll take time to foster a new chat environment if most of her viewers have settled into this pattern, maybe it's not a risk she wants to take.

She talks for 60 solid seconds at a time, then glances at chat, roughly scans the 2 or 3 latest messages, picks one at random which is usually completely innocuous small talk, and then launches into another 60 seconds nonetheless, and then repeats the whole process.
