They're a successful implementation of heeltubers. Their presentation is a dark and sinister in contrast with Lazulight's rainbow candy unicorn aesthetic.
Their personalities also reflect that theme. They're all kinda cold bitches, but in a good way. Also, the lack of gen unity marks them as a selfish loners, which sort of works with the aesthetic, and allowed them to cultivate insular fanbases not rely on company relationships (not so much for Petra, but Selen and Rosemi are almost divorced from their NijiEN coworkers.

It's not perfect, but it kinda works
