Aight, JWU, and it seems the projection is causing some trouble. I am to blame in part for this, when I laid out the map onto the globe, I was mainly concerned with: respecting the 15 deg polar circle offset, and minimizing apparent distortion. To do those two things, parts of the map ended up changing latitude. This deformation was not communicated to climate anon, who did his work assuming the latitudal proportions were the same in the old and new map. I apologize for this to him.

Now, as for solutions. I do not think changing the climate to account for this is most efficient or sensible.
1. It would require climate anon to re-draw the climate map, which was a sizable workload, I think it would be unfair to ask this of him again.
2. There is a lot of lore that runs on assumptions based on this map.

Do not despair, because I do not think this means we need to handwave or magic this away.
First potential solution:
I simply create a new projection which places the countries where they should be to have the accurate climates. Pros: This is less work than creating a new climate map and certainly less than adjusting all the climate-related lore. I can then simply re-project all our Map3.0 maps onto this new projection, so that no one needs to actually create new stuff. Cons: I think this would result in visible artificial distortion of the countries on the globe that are in the concerned regions.
I am willing to do this, but I do not favor it.

Second potential solution:
I think people are vastly underestimating the magnitude of variation the world climate can undergo. Consider these two pictures:
Vegetation during the Last Glacial age (~20k years ago)
https://files.catbox.moe/grzgex.png
Climate during the Miocene (~10M years ago)
https://files.catbox.moe/yg7zqh.jpg
Between those two, Norway goes from deep into the tundra (maybe even an ice cap) to the equivalent of an Oceanic climate. Sounds familiar? That is the same discrepancy that /uuu/ currently has.
So, this is the proposal: our world has a climate more similar to the IRL Miocene than current day Earth.

Possible concerns:
>Does this mean we must have dinosaurs and shit?
No, 10M years ago is relatively recent, geological and evolutionarily speaking. I think most of our work in fauna and flora creation wouldn't be affected by this, as the climate they were designed around end up not needing to be changed.
>Why was it warmed, anyway? Does that mean we have a fuckton of greenhouse gas up our ass?
Possibly, yes. Current theories explaining the warmth of the Miocene are that tectonic and volcanic activity resulted in the release of unusually high amount of CO2 (900-1200 ppm, compared to 415.26 in current day.). However, this doesn't mean that we need to undergo climate change; this climate change would retroactively explain our current climate.
>Wait, does all that carbon mean we're in the carboniferous and there are giant bugs and shiet?
First, the Carboniferous had even crazier CO2 levels (around 1500 ppm), but secondly and more importantly, the nature of the Miocene warming is that it was relatively short-lived, lasting only a few million years (I'm seeing 2-4M years), as the off-gassing from tectonic activity was recycled through the environment. Before and after this period, the levels were closer to the 400 ppm baseline, which means giant bugs wouldn't really have had the time to evolve to the insane sizes of the Carboniferous. However, they might be a little larger than average.
>Fuck, does that mean we need to re-do the climates in 2 million years?
Do you really think we'll make it that far? Mori will probably have killed us all with the Final yab by then.

Thoughts? Especially from climate anon

Next, comparison of what it looks like on the globe: https://files.catbox.moe/z64i54.png
Notice how all the Northern country are kinda sucked into the North pole with the old proportions, while the new one look more naturalistic and like what the original map intended them to look like.

Lots of meat, both domesticated goat/beef as well as wild game. Root vegetables mostly, with wheat and barley being pretty sparce for bread, making it a rare commodity. Plenty of different teas and brews from various roots/plants. Cooking is pretty simplistic, vegetables are either eaten raw or steamed, meat is either cooked in a goulash or made as steaks. Warm valleys are home to a variety of different spices, so that is heavily used in lowland cuisine, with remote highland villages and towns relying on import.

>feels like using local magic phenomena to change the climates would bother them more desu
you are 100% right. At least for me that is, I dont know if climeatanon cares that much. If a re-do of the climates has to be done I would consider coming out of the retirement to help with that, if climeat doesnt want to do it himself. Minus his overlooking of the expanded poles shift, he has been doing a stellar job that was way better than my janky ass early maps.
Doing an actual in-depth map would be difficult in my current life situation, but doing a quick low-effort general guide would be on the table in the short term. Ofc, I cannot say what climeatanon would think.

>>37194361
Here I would agree with >>37194893 and >>37194433 . I dont think it a good idea to just make the magic our go-to handwaving technique. Takes a lot away from the world and the setting, at least to me. I imagine it would be close to how a milautist would feel if someone claimed they have ak-47s as the standard equipment in their army while everyone else uses muskets. Makes the whole thing jarring.

>>37195291
Most of the nations with in-depth economic rentries are all in the tropics, which would not change that much, at least according to my understanding. I do agree with your take on this though, a climate correction and it's effects should be explored and then voted on.

>>37195420
Its not a change really, just a correction. The current climates are implausible. And like I mentioned above, the climates that are most "wrong" are the subtropical and subarctic regions. Nations that are "tall" in the north-south direction may also be affected disproportionally, which may be either a bad thing or desirable depending on the reps. For mepersonally, i would really like it.

>>37195618
Months ago climeat anon pointed out that the current climates are wrong. Hoomans have become aware of this change and would like to implement the correct climate to themselves, but doing so would imply that /uuu/ would have to change as well to preserve plausibility.

>>37201157
Talking as a mostly retired climatefag, who has not done the primary workload in the current interpretation of the climates.
At a first thought, this looks plausible, but there are some issues with it, primarily how we would need to expand the extend of tropical climates near the equator. I would imagine that rainforests would be far larger in a miocene climate vitubia, which in turn might fuck over others.
I personally think that the changes the corrected climate and the miocene proposal have on the climates of active nations should be explored and discussed. Who knows, maybe people would actually prefer those over their current ones. I for one certainly would prefer the corrected climate, from how it looks to me at the moment.

tl;dr
Climates should be corrected. There are two ways I think work best for doing that, making the climate more like earth Miocene, or then simply correcting the existing climates to what they should be.

As the acting rep of nasfaqg, I would prefer the latter, since the slightly colder and drier climate we would get in our far-southern regions works better for the economy rentry i have been working on and suits our venetian-victorian england image far better than our current "wrong" climate does.

Either way a vote on this should be held, and reps should be informed of how things would change. Whichever is chosen, I can adapt, as long as I get to have some of my dry-climate liking plants somewhere.

To be fair there are many warm periods that we can choose from. Even near future projections will probably line up well if not a bit too hot. Our inability to keep the mud ball we are stuck on comfortable for us aside, a colder planet would be problematic for /kr/, since the peninsula it is on is basically flanked by two cold currents, so a colder planet would likely put northern /kr/ in subarctic climate (or cold oceanic if we decide the sea to the north is not bit enough for gyre formation), and southern /kr/ in tundra.

Yeah, if the correction turned that whole /vnug/ taiga into a tundra, that wouldn't be workable, there's a lot of lore and great stories relying on the vegetation of the region. Ideally whatever we go with those characteristics should be preserved.

Thank you for the analysis! Yeah, I guess the main thrust is that there's a lot of room to shift climate one way or another while still having an Earth-like climate. Im probably the closest to an /infinity/ writer the thread has currently, but im not their rep so take anything I say with a big spoonful of sugar. They are based on what little I have discussed with Kronieronie, who is currently inactive.

In general, they would be considered to be quite pragmatic. Kronie architecture, clothes, and devices are first and foremost designed to work, and work reliably or in a way that they can be easily repaired. Exception to this rule are religious or otherwise important items, buildings, and garments. A civilian kronie is likely to dress in simple clothes that do not garner much attention, but a priestess or an officer is likely going to be wearing something much finer.
Matters of sex and storytelling are also valued highly, and items, buildings, and outfits that have to do with those things would thus also be far more decorated and revered than their mundane equivalents would be.

A highly respected form of art is storytelling, in the form of written works and oral storytelling. This is an activity that many of the /infinity/ kronies take part in, and have grown with. It would be relatively common for, say, kronie conscripts to recite stories, both those they have come up on their own and those they have heard before, around the campfire while their troop camps for the night.

The /inf/ kronies themselves are pale and shorter than the average vitubian. They tend to have dark hair, but can have other colours as well. On average they are also slightly physically weaker. A Kronie soldier is unlikely to win a wrestling match with an equally experienced Matiyotl of same age, but could match equally to a lot less experienced Matiyotl.
In battle, both between armies of thousands of men and in one on one duels, a kronie soldier seeks to gain advantage through skill and information over pure raw strength. Most often this aspect appears on the form of technological advances, high discipline, and long training.

Kronie diet is quite simple and poor. They eat little, and they tend to eat simple foods. Extravagance is seen as wasteful, in most situations. A rifleman diet would be one of those situations.

Ideologically /infinity/ kronies believe that valuing the collective over the individual is virtuous. Sacrifices are acceptable if they ensure the survival of the nation, and it would be virtuous to willingly be that sacrifice. However, naturally not all can follow this virtue, as kronies are still just humans. There is a strong religious aspect to this, as kronies are fanatically religious. Their weapons have prayers etched into them, and religious officials would likely company kronie soldiers on missions. Think of them as borderline wh40k in this. The fact that most stories name the deity they worship as "The Kroniisiah" you can probably see how apt this comparison is.

The nation has been deeply affected by and shaped by the cultural trauma of the Great Winter period, which still defines a lot of how the people of the nation think and act. Preparedness, paranoia, and valuing the community over the individual are aspects of the collective /infinity/ kronie mindset that have their roots in this cultural trauma.

Consider reading or skimming through...

https://rentry.org/infinity-stories-deliverance

These stories written by me, and of which Colderonie was proofread and approved by the /infinity/ rep. Colderonie especially describes some of the religious aspects of a kronie riflemen, and also off-handedly mentions aspects of a kronie army camp life:

Hmm, fair enough. In that case, if we assume there being a subtropical high-pressure zone in the sea between the /nasfaqg/ islands and /meat/, and there being a mountain range across the /#/ peninsula west of /nasfaqg/, then the main island should be pretty dry in the summer due to rain shadow effect. In winter, a front between the aforementioned high-pressure zone and another one generated by Nijicontinent should bring enough moisture to make the place wetter. That should result in /nasfaqg/ having a Mediterranean climate.

Well, when it comes to viticulture, the conventional temperature range considered optimal would be between 12 and 22 degree Celsius, although a temperature higher than that does not seem to negatively affect their growth by itself (up to 35 degrees Celsius, which is beyond our concern here). Supposedly Brazil has been developing tropical viticulture and it apparently can achieve 2~3 harvests per year, although the lack of a cold season for grapevines to shed their leaves seems to also necessitate pruning to achieve high yield.
The main difficulty in terms of tropical viticulture is the high humidity of the tropical region when affected by warm currents (e.g. eastern /mep/). The high humidity will promote a variety of grape diseases like mould that would affect the resulting wine quality (although there are some wines that deliberately make use of mould for winemaking.
If we base on Brazil's experience, then western /mep/ can potentially produce 2 harvests of grapes per year, assuming additional water is introduced to the vineyard through irrigation - with irrigation, hot arid climates might actually be the most suitable places for viticulture due to year-long growing period and lower chance of grape diseases (adding water is often easier than removing water). As for eastern /mep/, the warm current off its coast means summer would likely be too wet for conventional grape growth, but the drier winter would have the nice combination of warm and dry weather for grape growth (irrigation might be needed, although perhaps not as mandatory as in the west).
Overall, I don't think /mep/ would need a Mediterranean climate or fictional grapes to have a well-developed wine industry. It should be achievable with good management and planning, which should not be an issue with /mep/. Having tropical grape variants that are more resistant to mould and/or not as labour-intensive will further improve vineyard yield/efficiency.

So I have a few ideas for /2434/ (I'll do nijimale after). The north region is a Monsoon Tropical Rainforest. Its got a bunch of natural fruits to forage. The northeast region is a flood plain. Its a bit swampy at the coast but its not pure swamp. And behind the mountain in the west is a fertile plain. Most of the rains are in the east with the monsoon. The mountains aren't high enough to block all the rain. So the west has stable rainfall that doesn't flood.

And if I may have a proposal there could be an underground aquifer shared between Nijimale and /2434/ that keeps the plains green during dry seasons. You can't tap into the aquifer yet with current tech. But it's essential for the plains to stay fertile. That said you'll need a prehistoric sand dune for water to steep underground.

In /vnug/ both Penelites and Remlins have a significant amount of elves though! (unless Kokone’s fan got a different official design)

>>37224126
I should work on that… the backlog grows
/vnug/’s magic is based around organic-chuubanite complexes! I sometimes describe it as magical essential oil. The molecules work as activators that can interact with specific sounds working as glyphs. It’s a skill that’s mastered by bard-magicians who know how to make specific sounds (mostly by singing and/or playing instruments) to make specific chuubanite molecules do specific magical things, with their power level determined by how precise they can make the sounds and also how many of these combinations they know. Quavers’ bard-magicians probably are the most versatile magic users in /vnug/ since there are a lot of molecule-sound combinations but I imagine their magic to focus on subjective experiences like manipulating perception (illusion) and emotions, although they can also do other things from lighting up the oil (which is also how the Quavers test their members) to healing and promoting growth as suggested by Lofi’s own lore
Because of /vnug/’s environment there’s a bunch of these molecules floating in the air and in the system of plants and animals so powerful bard-magicians can use them directly, but more often they play to concentrated extracts of magical essential oil on/in the targets which are easier to control and activate. Some of these extracts can also act by themselves when consumed/absorbed like magical medicine, which is how the Dreamwalkers from Remland use them to do dream-related magic. Powerful Dreamwalkers are able to use specific mixtures to manipulate others’ dreams like entering them. It’s kinda similar to how bard-magicians do that as they use carefully-composed “soul-songs” to pinpoint the target! As for the bitterbugs, they basically stabilize volatile chuubanite-infused molecules from wildlife with their own juice that can then be consumed by people like the bugs’ handlers and hunters, which makes them kinda similar to the Dreamwalkers’ herbal magic but with a heavier focus on combat-related stuff like all kinds of buffs

I envision it to be essentially like this
Hime Vessel- TOP DOG, Supreme Power, All royal power endowed onto others is done with her authority.
Elite Lunaitos- this is more of a concept that hasn't been explored with Artic but I imagine the royal guard to be the second most powerful force in the Candy Kingdom. They'd probably operate outside of Hime's knowledge and would choose new members from the most loyal and fit luknights that they've observed.
Current Hime Vessel Family- These guys are like the Hime Vessel's mortal mother and father as well as any siblings that are born to her. They usually take up training in roles of governance to eventually fill them and might just skip it all together and just end up in a powerful position. Naturally. this family is considered acting royalty and would act in congruence with previous royal descendants in their positions of power. Their royal privilege ends once the Hime Vessel takes her Grand Nap and a new Hime Vessel is born.
Previous Hime Vessel Families- Varying amounts of power, these families are the ones that are most likely to resemble your traditional long line type royalty and pride themselves on being able to maintain certain positions using their royal power. Given that the Hime Vessel isn't a genetic thing, these families would probably marry each other for power, seeking out the newest families to reestablish their authority among the Himedom. A family that can get multiple Himedoms in one lineage would probably be at or near the top of these royal houses and could probably socially outrank a current Hime vessel family.
So tldr
>How long would a lineage’s genetic right to rule last?
Officially, until the Hime Vessel passes away
>but would there be other disqualifying factors like as punishment for some crimes?
Hime can demote anyone at anytime for anything. I mentioned it with Artic that it could be a cool event to have a great tantrum that cemented the fact that all power is granted by Hime and can be justly taken away should the squabbles of the royal houses come into conflict with her desires.
>what offsprings would be eligible for the right?
Maybe a limit on something like down to Grand Children are considered royal since the Hime-Vessel lives to be around 100 and you can get a few down the line that would cause an issue if each were entitled to a position of power. Authority of being royal goes backwards though too, nanora.
>do all legitimate offspring get that or is it limited by gender or something else?
Nope, all relatives are able to receive royal authority. We're not a nation that discriminates via sex in any major ways.
>What about side branches of a lineage?
Essentially they would work under other, higher ranked houses.

The what?
I think the bard-magicians play all kinds of musical instruments since they can work their magic as long as they can produce precise sounds but I imagine string instruments would have the best potential for magic as they’re better at producing harmonies from what I can tell. Singing is its own category though since it’s seen as making your own body an instrument

>>37258197
How precise is the process from the musician’s information to the sound output? I feel there would be some degree of loss since a performer’s skill in performance relies heavily on bodily movements like hands and mouth while the jukeboxes don’t seem to have those bits but instead use different mechanisms to imitate the instruments, but I don’t know enough about how the jukeboxes work to tell if that’s something that can be compensated well enough. That said it doesn’t mean they’ll simply not work, maybe just not as strong or fast since most magic performance should allow some margin of error

For the last three months a little town in /haha/ had been constantly attacked by a Schizo warband. Usually it was just a couple few madmen. Easily shaken off with a swivel gun.
But they have reinforcements now. From shamans to trolls, the warband grew threefold. Men and women were killed, children dragged off into the night, and the crops burnt to ashes. The faithful were losing faith in their oshis as the Schizo psychic rrat fog grew thicker, filling their heads with maddening thoughts.
Tonight, they will come again. But tonight, the townsmen are prepared.
The warband arrived at the village without any opposition for once. The gates were opened wide, an invitation of sorts. The Nijifag plebs must have accepted their fate thought the warband chief.
Then they realized the dimly lit streets were empty. Not a single wagon and townsfolk. The townsmen must have left for good. This is their town now! One by one they enter the plaza, cheering, shouting, smashing windows, and looting the stores. A victory to celebrate! A troll chugs down a barrel of liquor while the shamans turned the temple into a shooting range for their wicked spells.
In the midst of it all, a hungry barbarian wandered off into an alley, looking for a poor animal to eat. A cat will do just fine. He died a quick death as a hot blade cleaves down through his skull like butter. A shaman was enjoying herself with a pint of cocktail until an arm came from behind her, snapping her neck in a swift twist. A stumpy schizo was cleaning his blunderbuss by the plaza before he was knocked flying. Shot mid-air by his own gun.
The Schizos heard the commotion and came running to the scene.
They found the corpses of their comrades in various ends. Beheadings, shot, strangled, burnt.
It didn't took long enough for a figure to appear out of the shadows. A lone man. Dressed in an old scout's uniform, covered in scratches and stains. His right arm appears to be missing a hand, an iron and leather gauntlet is attached to the stump on his wrist. A veteran of many battles at first glance.
"Who are you?!" cried a Schizo. He knows this man is a worthy challenger. A peasant would've run away by now.
"A passing-by bounty hunter. Yer worst nightmare."
The schizos paused before laughing in unison.
"You?! A mere mortalfag?!! You can't be serious!"
"Oh yeah, buddy? I've killed enough of yer friends to prove it. Consider it my resume."
"Alright alright... sheesh mercenaries these days and their gimmicks... Just entertain this fucker and move on, boys!"
In an instant the schizos came charging at the man, their polearms and bayonets at the ready. The bounty hunter jumps ten feet in the air and landed behind the charging wall. Quickly, he pulls out a glowing sword from the sheathe on his back, and attaches it to the gauntlet on his stump hand.
Before the schizo vanguard was able to turn around, a glowing hot blade cleaved through them in a single slash. Spraying hot crimson and brown blood into the air.
A prowling schizo came leaping at the man from behind. There is no way he will turn around in time.
"This is the end!" he cries out in anger.
The man was prepared. He reflexively grabbed his blunderbuss with his only hand and pointed it back on his shoulders.
Blam! The schizo was sent flying back. Falling onto the ground in a heavy thud. Still alive albeit dizzy.
The man turns around and pointed his blunderbuss at the dazed schizo. The thing was double barreled!
"And this... is my boomstick!"
Blam! Another madman down for the count.
He snaps the blunderbuss open on sword hilt on his wrist gauntlet. Two smoking metal catridges came flying out. He took a couple fresh catridges from the gauntlet and loads them down the barrels.
"Groovy..." he grins.
He twirls the blunderbuss back into position and immediately aims at a troll that was about to hit him. Two shots to the face. And a slash through its neck with his sword. Multicolored blood came spraying. The troll falls with a heavy crash. Crushing a midget schizo beneath it.
The bounty hunter knocks a schizo with the butt of his gun before beheading him. This is going to be a fun night.

Ah, a great question! The main thing about fighting the Necropotamus is that you don't want to be in front of it, if it gets its jaw around something, the something is probably dead. Plus, the skin on its head, neck and front section is particularly tough and thick, as that is the part that gets scarred when they duel one another. The quickest way to kill it is to eviscerate its belly if you can manage that, that's when its skin is softest, and the only part where there aren't iron-hard black bones in the way. Otherwise, stabbing it dozens of times in the back half of its body and back legs, and having it bleed out while it fights you can work too, professional Deadbeat hunters will splash them with and anti-coagulant and blood thinning poison to assist this strategy.
It's also only fast in a straight line, zig-zagging is an effective way to prevent a successful charge.
Oh, and one Deadsloth vs one Necropotamus is a matchup in the sloth's favor, it can wrestle the hippo onto its back and open its belly with its claws.

also founder now that i honestly do not need to worry about causing a timeloop anymore i can be honest with you.

i hate that story of yours because the first chapter for me jsut killed any and all chances for me to salvage my personal airship lore. i now how selfish this sounds but to me it was the biggest passion project of all the things i had attempted to write and when the whole airship timeloop with alice came around and it basicly ruined what i had set out to do i jus tfelt absolutly defeated but even then i still hoped to somehow salvage it and make it work but when you went and made them a canon product for /2434/, for me that jsut killed the last chance i saw for it. it made me absolutly hate you and also agent41 for celebrating that part of the story. to me it jsut felt like the final nail in the coffin and i honestly could not quite get over it, that is why i did not want my nation to be featured in your story now anymore, even less os when you mentioned the jukeboxes as you reasoning for it when i written lore and story about my nation itneracting with /meat/ before and the jukebox barely can be considered my lore since 3beat and agent41 helped in making it. again i know this is selfish on my side and got nothing to do with anyone involved but it is simply how i feel and mentioning it now is my final piece of spite towards it.

Alright, so since you're quitting and we ain't causing a timeloop, let me also be honest on this whole armored airship deal.

For being a passion project, you sure didn't do anything with it. The airship timeloop happened weeks ago, hell, the timeloop where it was first brought into question was when /nasa/ was still around. That was months ago. And in all that time, the only time it was brought up was when timeloops were happening. Not a single time, before or after, did you say "alright tech/chuubanite autists, I got this airship, how can we make it canon?" and instead just kept trying to work on it in the background while other stuff was going on. You had weeks after the timeloop where you could have brought it up to the thread, and you didn't. Some passion project that is.
Anyways, godspeed you glorious bastard.

>> No.37287821

>>37285821
No there is no point to it anymore. the one thing i had going on in the background died for me in my mind and while i could swallow it at least to a degree and keep to myself. now the other big thing that i was really happy to be a part of an dlooking forward to died for me too and just drove home that there simply is no space for me.

>>37286922
yes because i wanted to do this right and do it myself. i also wanted it to be a big BANG kind of moment to be exciting and stuff. also fuck you, when the timeloop happened i did mention my opinion and that i felt like it fucked me over. also i did talk with PG way back about some ways how to use chuubanite for it. but as always it is too ahrd to remember shit that i say.

also fuck you for saying i haven't done anythign towards it. this was a big project over many different parts.

i had already written the first chapter for a story with 3beat that would have given lots of metals with high retrofactor to be used for the airship and was atm jsut waitng for the monhun story because i needed soem cool creature for my group to fight in moriji

i also had setup the original deal with Panon about getting pomerlanes stuff as some of the biggest artifacts filled with retro factor as the core piece for the important bits for the airship and waited for panon till i would get the stuff but he retconned that recently

i also wanted to find useful artifacts for it on the shared island with nasfaqg but so far we weren't allowed to have that island yet so there was nothing i could setup officially yet.

i also wanted craftsman to train in /mhm/ to learn and improve themselves to have the best possible craftsman to work on the airship but i thought organic didn't want anythign to do with me anymore after the alst incidents and after that was kind of put aside he seemed busy so i could not approach him.

just as much as i wanted to have a story in /who/ to gather new and improved ways of learnign about steel and such.

there were plenty of things that i wanted to lead to the zeppelin to make it truly a special thing and i partly had shown as much or tried to set thigns for it in motion, don't make it out like its jsut some shit i wanted to do and never did anything for.

>> No.37288695

>>37288350
there was the initial talk about using retro chuubanite to improve the plating so it could be lighter by needed less metal and such

the arrow talk which was trying to come up with way to influence thigns with air by using a different example.

when i asked him further questions about glyphs when we did the soulbind because i wanted to udnerstand that better to see how i can use glyphs for the airship

and the frameskip was also part of it since i wanted to know if i can have things manipulate perception of big objects since if its useful for ships then it could also be useful for the airship

I honestly didn't notice there were airships in that story nanora, still I feel like when you can acknowledge that your point is coming from an internal emotional logic that nobody else could have known or been responsible for and that ultimately the party that you're angry at is unlikely to have honestly known that you were or would be angry about something, you're more setting yourself up to feel sad about something later than to actually satisfyingly resolve any internal conflicts in the present when you're voicing your issues in a way that's pretty much guaranteed to draw up other's opinions and point of views. I feel like its become a kind of meme for me to yell about communicating about ideas and issues more openly to stop any kind of loop but I feel as though it's becoming exponentially more relevant.
Still if you feel like you've done all you can and there's nothing more for you to write for in terms of /retro/ it's fine for you to step off and go your own way, stay chill Retro.

>also wanted to find useful artifacts for it on the shared island with nasfaqg

i know that it is a me thing and i was willing to swallow it up and let it die for me since i had currently something else that made me happy and i was really looking forwar dot but that now too has died for me

and honestly ther eis more that i wanted to write but its all jsut worthless and has no point. one of the msot fun part of this is writing with others and having things connect with the things of others.

even this battleship would have been this cool thign not because its a battle airship but becuase it would have been this awesome thing that not only showcases the retro reich working together but also all the things and stories with allies and friends that would have led to it. to have the reaction fo people be like "ohh this is from that thign with me, this is so cool that it led to this.

but why? most of wha ti write gets barely aknowledged as even existing

people i want to write with either stop writing with me, tell me to wait sicne they are busy and then they got no issues working together with others on other things.

what few deals i manage to get with othe rnations together all end up forgotten or cosntantly get retconned into never having existed.

and the few times people aknowledge stuff liek my navy or calendar it just leads issues with other people.

people tellign me stuf fis fine and then later blow up all their hate for me into my face for all kinds of past things. people telling me they are stressed out about workign with me and rather cut me out and work on thigns without me.

so why write? when the thing i love most about this project is basicly none existant and my existance is objectively making things worse for others, then what good is writing anymore?

Retro, it looks to me like you've gotten way too attached to these plans as a personal thing and have started to view impassive actions through an amplified lense nanora. I assume that everyone writes at least partially to see their own works lain out in a solid form, it's also kind hard to understand what you're saying now but could you try to boil it down into a more concise sentence since I can understand where your emotions might stem from but the wording is vauge in a way that makes it hard for me to see cause and effect in terms of emotional logic nanora.

I mean I can't exactly tell or gauge these by the situation since no names are named but maybe the different concepts that were used to collaboratively write just weren't ones that interested other writers to that degree where they'd be obligated to do that. I think there's a level of flexibility that you've gotta be down with in terms of collabs, maybe entire reworks or creating new conceptual plans or ideas or even exploring entirely different nations with other people, there's still tons of retro indies that I haven't really seen talked about in terms of /retro/ and maybe the different concepts that come from them would be more palatable, there's way too many options unexplored to just throw in the towel now because the ideas right now aren't catching eyes.
