She's been really busy the past few months so community events have mostly disappeared.
I think people have tried to do an event or two without her but I don't know what participation was like (only saw chat in in the watchalong channel after the fact).
On the one hand I think the community should organize within itself even if she's not around, I think she would prefer if her discord was an active place for a group of friends. Like take a look at Nemu's and how people are playing games together independent of what she is doing.

Yeah, main chat varies, occasionally it'll have some conversation going, but thetre's also a culture of emote/sticker spam, best bet is to try and start a conversation about something in offtopic or in another relevant channel, usually works for me, but I've been around for a while now so maybe that helps.

Discord for notifications/utility only, don't see any value in interacting with anyone there. Vtuber servers are cancer, no exceptions. The only positive thing about it is that it's not overrun by seanigs, bless whoever did the gatekeeping.
