I think she's being kind of dumb. Obviously she's not bad enough to not be able to stream, since she's been streaming already and still plans on doing collabs. She also says she's not sick in any way other than just coughing. So if she wants to stop coughing, she should completely rest, including collabs. If she is doing collabs and other streams still, then she's not resting and there's no point stopping solo streams either. It really just seems like she is making an excuse not to do solo streams rather than actually wanting to rest.

I love how she's almost perfectly fine the whole stream but then suddenly starts having issues even speaking when she talks about needing to take a break. She needs to take an acting class.

I personally don't really think it's a big deal for streaming, who cares if she's coughing a little or has to mute her mic every once in awhile, as long as it's not affecting her health in other ways, which she says it's not, there's really no reason to stop if it was only affecting her streaming, but she ended up having to reschedule an important recording because of her cough, so I guess that's probably what got her to take it more "seriously", if you can call it that. I still think she should go all or nothing if she's going to take a break, still doing collabs (and probably CR OW) kind of just feels like half-assing it and doesn't really solve anything besides making people uppity because she's not solo streaming.

Any throat issue is a big deal for someone who uses their voice a lot for their profession, and she can't really sing if she's coughing constantly. If she was actually taking a serious effort to solve the problem then her taking a break would be a good thing, I don't want to hear her coughing and clearing her throat constantly. Most holos are having throat problems and clearing their throats at this point which is scary.
At this rate though it's just hard to believe she'll ever be better or go back to regular streaming. She's had throat problems since the beginning of the year and every time she takes a break her condition just goes right back down immediately.
