This week started on wednesday but its looking pretty damn good. She's probably doing long streams during the weekdays.
Apex tonight, Mario tomorrow 4-5 hours so she can hopefully finish it, Later Alligator which will be a 5-6 hours stream, the kino watchalong and podcast on saturday, Supersunday followed by comfy late night minecraft on sunday, then a zatsu with a lot of terrarium and fish talk on monday.
Its a really well balanced schedule, I gotta praise Ame for her stream variety.

No, she probably just has untreated seasonal allergies, like a lot of North America. Post-nasal drip can cause sore throat, and other allergy symptoms can raise body temperature and cause aches. Not only that, but after a stressful event, such as the outfit reveal and collabs and such, the human body basically goes into a more relaxed state that has people prone to becoming sick. Also on top of this I don't think she ever went to that allergist and found out what she is allergic to, so she may have been continuing to get sick. I don't know what kind of things she has been taking to "help her immune system" as she put it, but my experience after working at a pharmacy is that the only thing that really does that is echinacea, and I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly) that she is just taking a multivitamin.

Now that I think about it, since they got square Enix permissions, Ina will jump on Nier Replicant next week for sure, and Ame will have to go another week with Mario, theres a not zero chance she won't play Nier because Ina is already playing it.

Sorry but this "mentally draining" stream argument makes zero sense. Giving a offline lecture to hundred of people is mentally draining, hosting a offline workshop is mentally draining. And people who do this things also have other duties and they do it daily. They like their jobs too and they probably have pets too. But streaming in front of computer has no difference if you have 100 viewers or thousand if you barely interact with them.

That's what made last weekend so special, she was streaming to 100k people and then did her first public karaoke in a while (as the ones prior were all members for a bit), and she knocked it out of the fucking park
But also understandably this week has been kind of slow for her, only one stream so far since the one she planned earlier was rescheduled

The term parasocial is overused on this board without really understanding it. It's a term to describe the dynamic between an audience and the person "onstage", so to speak. If you watch a streamer for a while or you follow an actor through interviews and social media, and you empathize with that person, then it is parasocial. I know all these things about Ame that she's said onstream, while at most she might be able to pick out my username in chat.
There's nothing inherently positive or negative about parasocial interactions. They happen all the time, with social media only further propagating it, but none of that invalidates that I do care about Ame. In fact, I think putting a name to it helps people understand how to draw healthy boundaries.

OK controversial theory here: there is actually a benefits to Ame cancelling streams so often: the people who stick with her are only those who can deal with that without feeling betrayed. Consider:

In other words by being inconsistent Ame is deliberately encouraging a fanbase who can deal with that inconsistency while still understanding that she cares about her fans as a whole and is enjoying what she does. The type of person who can't separate the inconsistency from the rest of the personality eventually leave. This isn't cope: I'd much prefer if Ame didn't cancel. I'm just suggesting that as a side benefit she is building a fanbase of nicer people.
