There aren't any illustrations he hasn't already shown us, but some characters have alt versions. Arecos has a mask, Juke has furry claws (one image says "Manipulate the Elements"), Haruto's closed eye glows when opened (his image in the endings folder says "time traveler").

In the endings folder, there's an image named "TRUEアステル." He does not have the yellow streaks in his hair.

It's pretty obvious this new rule was set to channel more viewers to these big events, but it's more to see if there will be an increase in the Stars numbers than Hololive which is misguided to say the least.
