Being a unicorn is the most commonly expressed sentiment on here because schizos like to spam comments, and many (possibly most) unicorns are schizos. I think most people here don't officially oppose males, they just don't like seeing collabs with males as much as solo/female collab streams. And NijiEN and HoloEN show that a lot of western vtubers who start collabing with males just keep spamming those collabs.
Either way, Shondo's right. Unicorns will start leaving. Everyone else who doesn't care as much will probably still anticipate more and become less committed to her. Unless you really want to and don't care about the hit in views, it really isn't worth it.

Both unicorns and homobeggars are tiny exceptions. Most people don't care enough to shit up this board but still have a preference going from "don't like them but aren't a unicorn" to "don't give a fuck at all."
I find it highly doubtful that more than a small minority of people actually *prefer* collabs with the other gender (because most girls who watch males don't like seeing females in the stream either). The only exception is for a specific collab duo that has chemistry together (like Roberu and Mea, or Axel and Zeta), and that's hardly generalizable.
