It is a GOOD thing that Pippa (and any other chuuba for that matter) keeps an eye on her and how she does things as a kind of standard. Pipster is punching way above her weight class and it's through sheer effort and talent, it is all well earned. Pippa bled and worked hard to be where she is, and I have high hopes for her. In fact, I dare say that they are not my hopes but my certainties. A girl like Pippa will go far with this, regardless of what happens to the vtuber sphere at large. She only needs to stick to her guns and avoid unnecessary, convoluted mental gymnastics that the majority of HoloEN fell victim to (with notable exceptions like Gura, Kiara, Fauna etc.) Thankfully Pippa seems to be attuned to how the creator - fan relationship works and has a humble attitude in general, so I dare say we have nothing to fear.

In general terms Phase Connect has an amazing team of girls and a distinct though difficult to explain feel. This comes from the good fact that the content the girls produce is idiosyncratic and full of personality, rather than a singular blob. Sakana probably counted on and encouraged this diversity of expression.

I can do it easily. As someone who enjoys loli who has high standards for what I consider acceptable, Remi is honestly really far down the totem pole. Not trying to anti at all but her model is an overdesigned mess, it looks like visual vomit. Her voice is a huge turnoff too because she's obviously trying to sound childish but utterly fails at it. Maybe i've just become accustomed to her old model, the new one just doesn't really look right imo. It's very busy. The hair doesn't really look like it fits on that head, though this could just be because I'm used to her old model.
The shirt kind of looks like its just a basic tank top with weird sort of gothic lattice worked in, I don't know maybe its just lace but it just doesn't really mesh with all the other stuff in this model kind of like the choker which also doesn't really work.
Kind of upset she cant wear the jacket, just have it half off or completely off. It also just doesn't look much like a jacket I think.
I am glad she got rid of the weird things in her head that the old model had. I like that she got more faces to use, just 6 hair clips on top of distracting earrings on top of the choker, and all the lace it's just very busy.
The old one was simple: it's a girl, she's got a pink streak, she has a white and pink jacket, and I don't entirely know what you call that underneath, a tube top and gloves that are both the same color instead of being two different colors. It was very simple compared to the current which is very busy.
At the end of the day though it's just my opinion which is I like simplicity better. I thought Iori and Tenma's model upgrades were great because they kept most of the same everything as the original, but just added on new faces and, in Tenma's case, a new outfit that I think fits her personality better.

Yeah Remi's design needed an art director in order to be everything it needed to be and none of the things it didn't.
The more I read into it the more I feel like Lumi having like 5 people grinding out every single detail of her redesign is a good idea. I hope they get the eyes to be more complex in shape the way her current ones are cause shape and deformation complexity was/to some degree still is an issue for Lia, for an immediate example.

Overwatch 2 isn't fun.
The core gameplay loop was designed around 6v6 with unrestricted classes. Blizzard hasn't ever been good at balancing and having to rebalance an FPS from the ground up isn't something they are capable of doing. Without the fake hype from paid content streams combined with nostalgia it would be a completely dead game. More and more people will quietly drop they game as they realize how unfun it is compared to other games they could be playing. That, or they'll get banned as Blizzard roles out more "safe space technology".

They're unironically winning by default because the alternative is Valo which is just a bog standard FPS with homogenized weapons and one-use/cooldown gated abilities meaning no hero is all that unique outside the two with the passive movement ability and the one with the self heal on killing someone.
Everyone else is just the fucking same.
No special movement (unless you pay), no special weapons (unless you pay), healing that is either one-use or runs off a super limited pool.

OW is fucking terrible but it's unique enough with effectively no direct competitor it's going to take years for it to disappear.

Same as before people will simply stop playing the game.
They don't need an alternative to go to in the FPS genre. This isn't a game that's going to have a large draw of children. Most of OW2's audience are return players. They're going to fuck off and the younger generation will continue playing Apex and Fortnite.
OW2 isn't going to disappear completely but it will fall off heavily and most will stop caring about it again. Especially if any half decent multiplayer game takes off in the Christmas release season.
