I just don't understand the recent moves being made by the big 2. One of Holo's greatest strengths is their walled garden and they completely threw that away for EN. At the same time in JP they're letting La+ do whatever the fuck she wants (although to be fair she is kinda a lost cause). Feels like for JP every younger Holo inevitably fucks up in some way (maybe hags are better?)
On the Niji side of things. EN is growing way too quickly, even compared to ID and KR before them, to the point that's straining the Nijisanji brand value. On the JP side of things, I don't know who thought VTA was a good idea.

It's funny, inversely to the EN market, the KR market is really starting to hit it's stride right now, and since neither Holo nor Niji is there many indies and local corpos are taking advantage of the power vacuum.
