I honestly forgot it was even a thing until I saw a thread here. The problem isn't the song itself, but the low views and lack of interest is due to something else - it feels cynical. You can't do a Myth song anymore earnestly because Myth is completely fractured, dead and buried as a group and a concept. People don't care about Myth anymore since the idol concept has been destroyed by Mori and Ame. Especially Mori. They can't act like everything is okay and pretend nothing has changed.

I watch Gura and I'll give views to Kiara and Ina, but I'd rather be fucked in the ass that watch or listen to Mori and Ame. I came for the idols and that's what I'll watch. Kiara just mentioned on her stream that Mori wrote the lyrics, assigned the song vocals, hired the composer and commissioned the MV maker in a very short amount of time. In her own words it was organized mostly by Mori.

You guys have a warped perception of how successful a Hololive MV is when maybe 60~70% of MVs don't even reach 1 million views compared to the 1,000+ covers and originals that JP, ID, EN and Holostars pump out over the years total. 100~300k range after being up close to a week or over with a few doing well like a few collab songs and an even fewer that do amazingly well going past the 1 million and beyond. Nobody expected it to do as well as Q. It's already on track to do better than Mori's and Watame's original on the first day. Retention of that is up in the air but I think it'll at least do better Journey like a Thousand Years which still hit 1 million within the month but had a sharp drop-off.

It takes like 2~3 hours after the stream ends before it stars calculuating and even then you are being shown a captured past view that it recorded. This is why youtube, for official music videos that go fast in the first 24 hours, they have to announce the actual views it got a few days later after they check it because the one being displayed isn't that accurate.
