Fauna already brought up Pomu before.
If there is a rule being followed, it seems like the rule is that nijisanji can't mention hololive members unless that holo member has already addressed them, since Selen has explicitly said she isn't allowed to mention Zeta.
That or Pomu at this point just doesn't care about the rules and being a westoid, is just being more belligerent than her Chinese coworkers.

What I don't get is if one side is open to collabs. Why don't they just flat out say, "We're open to collab on ours side."
It doesn't make sense why both sides are clamming up about it.

HoloEN was every Westerner's introduction to vtubers and most just stick to what they know. yeah sure Pomu in particular is now huge and profitable, but she still has a far lower reach than anything that has cover's badge of approval on it. this is even more significant with Iluna. Aia is such an uninspiring streamer and it shows. a collab would be like a free ad for Niji EN. it just doesn't make sense for them to block those collabs.
