Some of us took the small corpo pill with Hololive (JP), when they were struggling to hit triple digits and were mogged everywhere by Nijisanji, resorting to collabing with anyone that would have them. We have gone through this. We have seen our small corpo become a big corpo and a leader of the industry. What do you suggest we do now? Abandon our oshis, who we've supported for so long, to go through this all over again? Do you think our love, support and loyalty means so little to us that we'd leave just because normies have started corrupting parts of the company? HoloJP has been a safe haven so far, and it has made doing our reps worth it to avoid the shit show that is EN. EN fans that have been disappointed don't have to abandon Hololive in its entirety, they can instead switch over to JP, thus preserving a link to their oshi and perhaps even finding a new one within the company after interacting with parts of the community they were afraid/too lazy to do so before.

Even if you're unwilling to do your reps, there are usually translators in the chat and you can use filters to see just their translations. Eventually, you'll also passively learn some Japanese through osmosis as well. Instead of the small corpo pill, take the HoloJP pill.

I ask OP and others thinking like him again, what are your plans for your oshi and your small corpo in the future, if/when they eventually get bigger and face similar problems to Holo and Niji? Will you stay with them and support them, or reveal yourselves as fair weather fans, abandon them and start all over with another small corpo?
