Question to viewers: what do you value more, consistency or variety?

I'm going on 3 weeks playing the same 4 games on the same days at the same times so my what-was-a-weekly schedule has become pretty static. I'm starting to wonder if I should throw in a variety day, but that might mean one game doesn't get played that week. I'm also kind of worried about being able to find games that would work in a variety day, finding games that I'd be able to give interesting commentary on, and accelerating how quickly I'm going to be chewing through my backlog. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a very energetic or chatty streamer and that's something I need to seriously work on, but I don't want to deliver really dry, boring streams nobody is going to want to watch.

When it comes to small indies it seems like a lot of people throw around the word "parasocial" when they just mean "social." It's like vtubers are afraid of admitting to being friends with their viewers because they think they shouldn't to that if they want to make it. Or maybe viewers are afraid of admitting to being friends with a vtuber because they don't want to be accused of being a groomer. It's kinda sad.

Well, this is my schedule.
Monday is Age of Empires II ranked queue, that's set in stone and won't be changing.
Wednesday is Battletech, which is a 40, 50 hour game and I manage 4 or 5 hours per stream so that's going to be there for another 7 or 8 weeks.
Friday is Nexus, a space RTS kind of like Homeworld crossed with Star Wars Empire at War. I've done it for 2 weeks so far and probably have another 3 streams of it, but I might be able to get it done in 2 if go longer.
Saturday is Red Faction Guerrilla, an open world game with a fairly short story if I want to focus on clearing it. This one is up in the air if it's going to be long or short depending how thorough I want to be with it.

As a viewer, I have spent plenty of times chatting with vtubers over DMs about personal stuff, tastes, and stream discussion. I have never once felt that the vtuber was interested in being my friend, and am sure that they only responded because I talked to them first and felt obligated to respond. In fact, I think of all the times I chatted with vtubers, only two instances were caused by them reaching out to me, both about random questions they wanted perspective from me as a viewer.
