As someone who watches both Hololive and Nijisanji, and wants to explain it to anyone who's clicked on this thread.
Hololive is an idol company, Nijisanji is an entertainment company for starters.
More importantly, when males joined NijiEN, a lot of them were already acquainted or friends with people in NijiEN, yes it's nepotism. Also management forced them to play games together to get them used to seeing each other as just people and not males and females courting each other.
I don't see hololive doing that so we got the extremely awkward collab yesterday.

As for Selen, the girl is a certified tomboy, who abuses everyone equally. and manages to always avoid any drama.

Selen is sort of a special case. Because she streams a fuckton of long solo streams and plays games with her members, it makes it very difficult to argue that she cares about the collab partners more than her audience.
Kronii wants to dig herself out of the hole? Do a 4-5 hour solo stream nearly every day. Next to that sort of output, you can do a holostar stream every week and people will still be reassured you treasure your audience more because you're literally spending half a workday with just your viewers.
