Kronii is doing the right thing by ripping the band-aid off right now and just jumping straight into doing collabs with guys. I found myself getting too parasocial with vtubers over the last year and a half or so, investing too hard and I find it's a lot less depressing to view vtubers I like as simply entertainers instead of using them as a replacement for real social interactions. I wasn't into vtubers prior to 2020 and Myth because I didn't know japanese, but when I got into them in that year that's how I saw them, as just another form of entertainment. I am speaking for myself but I think in the long run this shit damages you mentally (if you allow yourself to fall into the parasocial rabbit hole). You may disagree but I will take Kronii goofing around on a game, talking to guys, and doing creative streams any day over GFE shit. I just wish Hololive would ease up and let their talent react to stuff so they would be just like other streamers. Some of you may see her as an idiot that doesn't know what she's doing but I think she's begun to understand the pain being a gfe type streamer causes. Not really. One year in and I get the feeling she still doesn't understand what audience she's targeting. On the surface it's coomers cause of her model and voice, but she doesn't actually do any coom pandering and in fact has said she was insecure about her model's huge rack to start with. She could have carved out a niche with voiceacting but she just doesn't really voiceact at all and said no to requests very early. She's not particularly stand-out at zatsu or gameplay commentary.
