Smut is absurdly easy to write to the point I'm not really crazy about writing it and I suck at it. That feels like a strange cope saying it but when I was an uncontrollably horny teenager I produced a lot of smut fanfic. Back then on the site I was using you never got feedback just viewcounts, then they added a comments feature and my god, I got good feedback but I suddenly became cringingly aware HUMANS were reading this. The hardest part about writing smut is trying to explain why they're fucking. You can get most people off to anything so long as you write their motivations as borderline animalistic and urgent, re: Choco's Veterinarian Service. Dialogue is almost an afterthought, no woman has ever spoken to anyone like Choco talked in that piece, you could have cut it entirely and had the same effect, adding dialogue at all made it feel less like she was fucking a dog and more like she was fucking a demon who happened to be shaped like a dog (which I prefer honestly because, I mean obviously).

Comedy is the hardest thing I've ever written and I admire people who can do it.

1. I personally like writing oral a lot, both ends of the equation.
2. I do think that varying up positions is important. There are SO many fucking ways you can do oral other than just the woman kneeling and sucking the guy off, or cunnilingus happening with the woman lying on her back.

I think I remember complaining about how her dialogue wasn't getting slurred enough from the fucking but damn this revision is taking it a step too far. Just finished part 4 just in time for this to come out. Nice.

Finally, Noel is back and with it, the actual premise of this story. It's actually pretty funny how we basically spent five whole chapters in Argomeny just... meeting new people and making some friends. Granted, a bunch of shit happened with the overarching plot of the Ancient Ones and Ina's apprentice but I find it hilarious how the main plot took a backseat for the side-plot which eventually overtook the main plot to be the focus of this story.
I found Noel's attitude to you kinda jarring even if it's more in line with her character. I guess because the last time we saw her she was acting kinda bitchy so when she acted buddy-buddy with you it felt really weird. Then again, Hero found it weird as well so I guess it's not AS retroactive as it could've been. Her pointing out how our intrepid hero acted so differently compared to when she last saw him was also a really nice touch, I actually reread the first chapter after this and yeah, it's like night and day comparing the two which I really like. Seeing our boy grow is definitely one of the highlights of this fic
I actually felt kinda hesitant to the whole "dragon blood" thing at first, felt like it came out of left field but I like how it explains his propensity for violence even though it was all technically based on luck. I guess it's just because it wasn't really clear if what Anon accomplished was because of him and his training or because of the dragon blood in his veins. Yeah, it's kind of crazy. Technically, just by adventuring around the city, especially following Marine's encounter and all of Ch. 6, Anon's been slowly establishing himself as a sort of envoy for humanity within Argomery - which is what he was meant to be doing all along. Alongside some behind the scenes work with various organizations within the city to better spread the idea that "maybe these guys aren't all so bad", by the time he's back "home" he's become pretty well known/liked within the city.
Noel was basically just acting like kind of a bitch primarily because you grievously wounded her friend and then proceeded to horribly disrespect her by humiliating her in front of a watching crowd. Also, I struggle to write her. It's mostly that.
I can say confidently that before Calliope got the shit kicked out of her, nothing was influenced by DT. It lead to more aggressive actions, but everything accomplished *was* by his own hand, as before the blood within was too weak to directly amplify anything beyond some mild personality shift, and even then only when under duress. Scout's honor.
Matsuri being a schizo secret boss was not supposed to happen but I'm glad it did.
I hope I can bring the boys along for more stuff later on; probably as supporting characters that Hero can comfortably talk with.
Data Riku was a colossal fucking inspiration so that checks out. There's some ideas for his growth as well as some alternate routes his "arc" can go down. Another Anon from a straight up other world would be fascinating, though. Encountering the Pure Black World Tendency "Hero" could be wild.
