I have a feeling UMG was disappointed by her numbers and it's exactly why mori is transitioning back into streamer mode, she'll still come out with music but the amount of advertisement she got definitely hurt the profit margins

At the end of the day, if you're gunning for popularity in music it's never just about the track. You're putting out a product whose perception is influenced by everything from delivery medium to timing to scandals. It's incredibly idealistic to think people can judge music on its own merits. Fighting against 'Mori' stealing glory from the 'real her' is fighting against herself without realizing it.
