VShojo wants to pave way on Twitch for Japanese vtubers and capture a new market where they don't have to compete with Hololive or Nijisanji, so they signed a contract with Twitch exclusivity for the new character Nazuna, which was relatively easy since she has no prior presence as Nazuna elsewhere. The financial incentive for Nazuna without the exclusivity deal would obviously be to stream on exclusively Youtube since barely any Japanese people bother with Twitch and even the largest streamers on Twitch are making pennies compared to even low-mid tier Youtube streamers. Kson joined as Kson and she wouldn't want to drop Youtube so she negotiated a contract without exclusivity. I'm sure Nazuna got something in return, like the model paid for her, or an extra sign-on bonus, but now she regrets it because Japanese people aren't following her to Twitch and English people don't want to watch streamers with subtitles so she's bleeding viewers every stream and getting hardly any donations. That's what she said: "If I knew what I know today back then, I would have debuted on Youtube". She should have gone for a contract without exclusivity, even if it meant she would have had to pay for her model or something.
