I Started counting from about the past 3 months, since the end of CR Cup 3 (11 Feb. MC collab with Watame) to her most recent stream. So this frame includes 2 Apex tournaments.

Her Apex streams totaled at 41
Non-Apex at 128
That's about 32% of Apex streams, which admittedly is a lot, not denying that, but it still means you should still expect more non-Apex than Apex. That's 68% of non-Apex where most of the Apex streams are condensed into the span of 2 weeks (tournaments)

Also keep in mind that I counted her Apex GACHA and ZATSU streams as Apex streams as well, even though the game itself is never the main focus in those.
Also one thing to keep in mind is that tournament arcs obviously inflate the number of Apex streams a LOT, since it's basically a week of just Apex practice.
The tournament-related Apex streams total at 20, so about half of all Apex streams from the sample size I'm looking at.
Say you like Matsuri but very much dislike tournaments and Apex. Thankfully she tells you in advance when she'll have a tournament week. Say you skip all of her streams during tournaments arcs and only watch Matsuri outside of tournament arcs.
41-20(tournament streams), that leaves 21 Apex streams in the past 3-ish months.

That means outside of tournaments, you're looking at about 16% of Apex streams from Matsuri. Not too bad, huh? What an Apex only streamer indeed.

And that's only from recent times when she's actually played much more due to participating in tournaments and more frequently. If I had the energy, I could count back to early 2020 when she started playing a lot. I'd be willing to bet the frequency of Apex streams would be even lower, but I can't say for sure of course.

so TL;DR if anything people don't need to expect or wish for non-Apex from her, she already delivers it at a staggering 84% frequency if you skip tournaments.

No, I didn't factor in streaming hours. Just the streams themselves. That's an interesting idea though for sure. Though I'm fairly sure the streaming hours would still heavily favor non-Apex content. She only has those super long Apex streams every now and then and tournament days are obviously fairly long as well. But still, her average streams are between 1-2 hours and sometimes longer ones like recently with MH. They'd probably stack up to have fairly similar ratios like the streams themselves, though I can't say for sure since I actually haven't looked into it.

Not really, the game is just basically look at cute pokemon and press a button to take pictures lol. But she was quite into it last time, it was overall real comfy stuff.

I'm hoping she actually streams it, first because it's cute & comfy and second delaying two days in a row due to extending Apex stream times is a bit... Questionable. I'll put up with the occasional stream delay so she can play with her friends and basically add an extra stream, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be a tad disappointed if she does it twice in a row. The reason why I'm worried is that she started streaming like 3 hours before scrims because she got the time wrong. Please try a different drop already. Even for one game. Dying to the same team 5 times in a row first thing in the match is a clear sign that your drop doesn't work

Uruca is a very experienced player, he should be able to grasp why this drop is trash and why they should change it but they still keep trying it.
Even yesterday they lasted much longer on Olympus because they dropped in a place where nobody else dropped. They are bad at early fights, they shouldn't take them. Can't rely on Uruca winning 1v3's or 1v2's with white armor and low ammo

They haven't won a single fight on that drop. The only reason they got 2nd place on the first match yesterday was because they ran the fuck out of there when they noticed there were like 3 teams dropping.

And yes, Matsuri is honestly really bad at early fights and hot drops. Also from what I've seen of Uge's gameplay, her fundamentals and aim is pretty good, but her decision making seems really bad in high-tension fights. That makes 2 weak players in early fights. It's not a good recipe especially when they're up against a fairly solid team.

The thing I liked about Masanori as a teammate was that he clearly recognized that they're not very capable of high tension early game fights. So they started dropping passive, playing passive and prioritizing on Snipers. They could easily win fights when they had good loot and went in together with Masanori's lead and good Horizon ults. But this is just Uruca going "Hmm let's just keep trying it again we'll win eventually" and he also solos way too much. Even now he just dropped away from both Matsuri and Uge and tried to pick 1v1's far away. Sure, he won one but Uge died again and at that point they've already lost with how shit their loot is. Uruca needs to realize this and just be straightforward to his team. They need a completely different playstyle if they want to compete. Again, the only good match they had, they looted far away and got killpoints off of third parties and snipers. Passive play.
I hope Uruca realizes this and talks about it off stream or something. Just be honest with your team and you'll start improving way faster than hoping that your players will just suddenly become good enough at dm to win the fights you never win

I wonder if its because Olympus is in many ways a simpler map. Consider some of the areas in WE, especially last tournament scrims where they got caught out and died, those areas either contained extreme vertical differences or its literally tunnels.
Honestly if it was me deciding based on their performance so far, I'll play ring, probably Valk/Gibby/Caustic or Rampart and just go for placement by finding a nice spot to turtle up and whatever sniper kills I can get. Literally don't push at all.

All Olympus matches were good. One might even see a connection between the drops and the results (hint hint)

I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow's WE scrims.

Interesting sidenote about today's results is that Towa's team seem to consistently do really well on WE but much worse on Olympus, complete opposite of how Matuli's team. Speaking of, that team is stacked as fuck honestly. For CR Cup standards, getting one of the best in the world + a solid Masters player is insane. All thanks to the gratitude letter and now all Koreans get -2 for "not speaking jp" even though all of CR does well enough to communicate in Apex. Crazy stuff.
I feel like the level in this tournament generally is much higher, probably due to the extra minus points raising the bar just a bit to get more solid teams. Like legit some games there are like 8 teams in the final circle. Intense matches for sure. I'd just like to see Matsuri & gang fix their shit on WE, because I know they have the potential to consistently place top 8 and even get champions. We already saw that potential on Olympus.

Kurumi Noah's team. They're not even that good honestly. They're all floating around Diamond so solid players for sure but they have no hard carry like many other teams do. But again, with Matsuri sucking at early fights and even Uge having problems honestly speaking, Kurumi's team is always gonna have an advantage. It almost completely relies on if Uruca fucks at least 2 of them.

In such a case they might actually find more success dropping deeper in, just going in, force it close. I don't think I've ever dropped that POI but going by my experience with others, Matsuri's team is dropping on the outskirts where the loot is thinner while Noah's team is literally dropping on the richer portion.

Today's games overall were pretty damn good honestly. Consistent top10 finishes and even higher. Killpoints almost every game (granted, sometimes only 1 and max was 6 so not that much, but a kill is a kill) and even some pretty high finishes like a 3rd and a 5th.
Compared to yesterday this performance is pretty insane and all it took was switching drops on WE. I honestly see no reason to cry over anything here but Matsuri is an emotional person so can't help it I guess.

Honestly I just switched to Reid's POV at the end. I really do love Matsuri but I'm a sucker for comp games and esports and I hate to see people getting too emotional over the games even when there's obviously huge improvement going on. If anything she and her team should be happy about the progress. And even something as trivial as your weapon lineup. Legit just pick what you like and have fun.
I was hella proud of her last tournament for keeping her cool the whole week but can't be lucky everytime I guess. She knows her skill level and the enemies' as well so no point getting too upset about not always being able to frag and make huge impact. Playing with the right attitude makes literally all of the difference.

Sure Matsuri has a lot of hours put into Apex, but it's obvious almost none of those are serious focused practice. She spends much more of her time outside of Apex because of her job and she clearly enjoys what she does, hence her usual variety streaming, idol events etc... Yet she still tilts and cries when she can't win against preds who do nothing but play Apex all day and some have played FPS for 10+ years. It's all so tiresome.
As I said in an earlier post, if anything, she should be very happy with the current results and progress they are making. Setting the bar way above your reach and then getting hopeless about not reaching it is just gonna kill your potential growth completely
And then all of it results in more delayed streams again unfortunately... Honestly she shouldn't even make frames during tournament arcs for non-Apex and just start guerrilla if she wants to do something else. This has happened every tournament except CR Cup 4.
