FGO is also incredibly shit for newbie players. Just to give some perspective the current event that is the "exciting" content is locked behind beating Lost Belt 4 (a story chapter that you have to beat about 10 story chapters before reaching it where you have to beat tons of shitty mobs). One could say because of spoilers but meanwhile other gacha games have the simple solution of giving you a warning that it has spoilers about a story chapter.

The funny part about this? The event story actually has no story relation with LB4 the only reason that they put that requirement is to pressure players into actually playing the game and beat the story considering how their internal data likely tells them that many aren't even playing the main story.

There are some stats that were revealed in Famitsu and only about 2% (3%?) of players started in 2021 and it's no wonder why don't give a fuck about playing the game besides the game making little improvement how hostile it's for newfags.
