Buyee also fucked me over with my order of the Polka Sketch 2 Set.

I bought the Polka Sketch 2 book and a shirt, then a week later I noticed there was a merch set for Polka Sketch 2 so I bought that as well (and the two C99 shirts I missed out on the first time around). Buyee got the Polka Sketch 2 book first and then got the merch set 17 days later. I had them consolidate both of them and ship it.

Everything they e-mailed me/listed on their site said that they had received all my items and consolidated them all into one package. I got the package 2 days later and no merch set. I went back to check and found out they hadn't received it when they shipped my stuff and didn't specify that ANYWHERE. They literally got the Polka Sketch 2 set 2 hours after they sent my original package. Now I'm out an additional $40 to ship that to me...

Based on description, this appears to be a "Battle Royal" (or Hunger Games, if your lame) style event. Random weapons distributed, then last man standing style. Map already has a grid, so they can use that to reduce area (not sure how they enforce it though). Could be pretty fun.

The rust properties or arc cannot be carried to different games. For example, some Holos play Rust because it is Rust and they never/rarely play PUBG. Some Holos would not play the game in the first place if it wasn't Rust. A similar question would be, why play roulette in Rust instead of a gambling game?
Also, some Holos have unique bond/relationship with another in Rust which doesn't exist outside of Rust.

PUBG has slightly different mechanisms, and totally different in terms of customization.

It's also worth nothing that the video game genre "battle royale" is not exactly what Polka was going for. If you've never read it, there is a Japanese book called 'Battle Royale' , which has been translated to English, and had both a movie and Manga series adaptation, which is the basis of this event. The whole opening bit with Lamy was pretty much a scene straight out of the book.
More to the point, in the book the students are given a bag with food/water, a map, and a random weapon that they have to make do with. This is what Polka was aiming for with the crates at the beginning, and it's something you can't really do in a "traditional" battle royale game, where guns are littered around the map. In theory, it forces players to adapt and play smart around their luck, but there's obviously some kinks that would need worked out.
