She's always had Discord in order to talk to some other Vtubers/commission artists, and she joined other Vtuber servers as a result to lurk and see what goes on, so she came to a conclusion that she can probably handle a server, and that these other Vtubers have a "community" that she thinks she lacks herself.

That was known forever, and I never ever opposed Discord as a tool of communication with other vtuber or artists. It's just the concept of official fan servers that bothers me.
More often than not it devolves into drama/grooming central, if she think she can stop from happening, great. But what she can't stop from happening is alienating anyone who opts to not take part on the discord server. It works more towards dividing the fanbase than fostering it.

I'm the same in keeping distance anon. In a way though second class citizens always have to start somewhere, like greys and members. From experience with Nade though she'll likely do the same thing she does currently, if she sees something funny on another platform she'll share it with us on stream so hopefully there will be less FOMO. Discords have often led to problems with many Vtubers, but I choose to belieb in Nade. If it gets too much she'll likely just close or ghost it anyway.

Happened with moving to twitch too. Girl has got a good head on her shoulders. This place spooked her on every corner, about anything bad that could happen, since the day she started. But instead of keeping her head down as she was told, she stepped outside anyway and used the scares to keep aware of the dangers. I adore her strong character and i think that all this warning wasn't actually for nothing, despite people getting upset over it. Its the best middle ground. Better than a caged bird, or one that gets caught in a bird trap.
