Its always between Ina and Kiara they are never that far off from each other. Both have issues that stunt their growth.

I say both have tried to expand their horrizons and try to better themselves more, as their core audience like them because they saw some semblance of good or humanity in them or like their content from the beginning.

Ina started collabing more outside of her Gen more often and even started playing games that would attract an audience, and Kiara just became more confident in herself and less umm Kiara.

However what gives Kiara the edge is crossover audience; Deadbeats are an example of that. Also doesn't help alot of the audience sees Kiara as the leader of HoloEN as shes the most outgoing and open up the JP floodgates as she bridges the 2 branches.

But i do find it funny that often (not always) the heart and soul of a given generation is ussually undersubbed e.g Nene, Iofi, Mio, and Ina

I think she's doing quite fine. Her recent Collab with Pochi, Iofi, and Reine was a blast, they had a lot of fun, and it was heartwarming as fuck to enjoy.
She is super girly cute, always making noises and giggles, but she is not that into shipping with other VTubers or teasing the audience. She is not hyper genki or into the most popular mainstream games, but her gaming streams have a comfy quality.
Thankfully, she has enough success that I don't think she is under much pressure to act hornier and sultrier on stream.

The more I watched her though the more I liked her. Her charm point is how she makes it seem so smooth and effortless while maintaining her composure and sweetness. Someone like Kiara seems like she's always on the verge of a melt down because of her numbers, Calli has imposter syndrome and is generally clumsy, Amelia gives off an impression of truthfully hating her fanbase, and Gura just seems blindsided by her popularity.
