I'm going to try to seriously answer this. There's a misconception that everyone profits from their work going viral. Memes don't usually benefit the original creators. Realistically people do not bother to find where memes come from. For every saltbae who has luckily managed to turn the popularity into a career, there's hundreds of original creators who never get a cent from other people parodying their work because once something reaches meme status, most people would consider it Fair Use, which it's not, but small time creators/artist have no means of combating this.

For this artist in particular, since their work is making emotes, their emotes being easily replicated by other people and uncredited in its usage probably feels like their work and livelihood is being cheapened and stolen. They could lose out on future potential commissioners who might not bother finding the original artist because they either saw the art uncredited somewhere else or "it's a meme" divorced from the creator. I doubt she wants to sue anyone. She just wants the tracing to stop, so her work stops spreading in a way she cannot control and isn't attributed to her.
