I almost never start Viicky2 as a Great Power, unless I'm playing something like Spain who are basically just a honorary great power at the start of the game. Microing the influence minigame is hell, easily the worst part of the game and I hope it is absolutely gone from Victoria 3.

I'm an oldfag who played CK2 before they added India. CK3 was the inferior game until Royal Court because that DLC added the ability to customize your culture and thus your realm and it's characters While CK3 is still way behind in ck2 in content, they still added some ck2 dlc features as ck3 base game content, namely religion customization, ability to play non-christians, india, Holy Fury crusade mechanic and many more. It's only a matter of time until they flesh out CK3 even more.

There's already a precedent to it in the form of title laws, might as well expand on it and have a UI that's actually navigatable. like let's say you control two different kingdoms but one of the kingdoms lets you hold cities and the other has unrestricted vassal wars.

well at least for nomadic, with what they did for ck2 it went beyond just how titles work. Like nomads practically not needing settlements and just razing them instead for pasture, etc. AFAIK, not a thing the game can model just yet
