The collab announcement stream - where Gura, Kiara, and several Niji livers were announced - was from the Alice Fiction official channel. And among both Hololive AND Nijisanji, only Ange had official "mirror stream" permissions for that stream.

There's value in approaching new markets even if the return will be small for those approaches. For Cover it's practically 0 cost with the potential for return. Best case Kiara taps into some massive new market nobody has approached before, worst case she wasted some time. The most likely result is that this will probably just mean that Kiara gets an even bigger presence in the EU circuit (of sponsors, conventions and community) even if she doesn't get massive numbers on stream.
