Yea, its best if there was none of that at all, but a vtuber cant provide that. vTuber content isnt the same as lets play series. Theres always going to be super chat, free talk, breaks that kill immersion. Chat reading, random joke? They also dont edit or shorten the stream if a mistake comes in. Since its live, and since its just not how they do things ( talking about vods)

Compare to a hollywood film. As you watch the film, does it pause after each action sequence to say:

Of course not! A film like that would SUCK. It would fucking suck. Nobody could pay for that -- and that's the point, why am I expected to pay for a vtuber who can't keep immersion in such an obvious way? Why are so many vtubers expecting to be successful while not doing their jobs properly?

Keeping on my hollywood example, do they just not credit anyone? Are they all fucked over? No, of course not... At the end of every Hollywood film is a long-ass list of film credits, bit names at the top, and everyone else underneath. It's like fine print that nobody ever reads, except the few people who're actually interested and, after seeing such great work, may want to hire the talents. That's all you need for credit. That is enough. And it doesn't ruin anything.

So why not, then, take the same attitude with vtubing? Just a little google sheet (pic related), update it by date with a quick link to the tweet and the artist, and be done with it. Put it out of sight in your carrd or twitch bio, just a little discreet link. Anyone who wants it has it, everyone else gets the full experience.

*This* is how you honour your artist. The artists are working for YOUR PRODUCT, they produce great art hoping that it helps you succeed. The way you honour them is to deliver the best product possible with it. What you see today is people dropping this responsibility like: '"oops teehee there you go, I linked you in the tweet, now I don't have to try hard anymore=)" -- like no, fuck that. Try, try hard, and focus on your product. Pump out the best product you possibly can and when jaws are dropped, let people scramble to the credit sheets on their own to learn about the team that "made it all happen". It feels like such an abdication what these girls are doing now.

The most successful vtubers aren't like this. Only the NGMI's are obsessed with making sure everyone gets their clout credit all up in your face. This is a trait that is common among the lowest among us, but not the highest. That should ring significant to you, look up to the giants to learn how to succeed. They don't break image like that. They keep in character and live it out. They're actresses and they know their job and they do their job properly.
