I've been setting up my trades to finish after either 50 or 66 cycles on x3. I rarely sell coins on x4 or above, but sometimes I buy on x4 or x5. Is it better if I adjust my trades to finish after 100+ cycles or even until the next adjustment instead ?

I could be doing this really inefficently,
Personally I set my trades up for the whole day at a certain multicoin when you calculate the tax (use the FUCK report for this). Every few hours I'll come back and decrease my multicoins above 1-2x until I go to sleep. For example yesterday I had a 6x buy, then 3 hours after adjust i lowered it to 4x (didn't really check prices) and then lowered it again another 4-5 hours later to 2x. Overnight most of my trades are 1 or 2x, unless its a really good deal.
At 300m networth you probably only want to focus a few coins above 3x because you would be strapped for cash. Back when I was around that I usually guessed the 'optimal' tax and then did half that or less in multicoin especially for sales. Massive deals are the exception, use personal judgement.
Something that will help is requesting the RR ledger each week to see where you are spending tax and losing money.

You should be doing 70~100 cycles if possible. Obviously 144 is best, but you'll lose a couple cycles just setting up your trades for the day, so 130~140 is a good target to set.
You can also make a lot more money by micromanaging your trading. Instead of 1 batch of 100 cycles, you could try doing 2 batches of 50, or 4 batches of 25 cycles, adjusting as the day goes on. Today had a lot of shallow dips/spikes that will be gone in a few hours (or just won't be traded on because they're fairly low-value).

I've thought about this while managing Aki love and Electrum today. I usually buy a larger variety of coins for Aki love than for Electrum since it's my own fund, and I'm willing to take a bit more risk with it.
