For me it was simple as keeping in mind "future viewers".

This ended up including myself, my family and friends, even my therapists and doctors etc. If your content, and thus you, are entirely dependent on ccv numbers: I recommend Twitter.

One should never keep a watchful eye on the current viewer counter while live, especially as a new streamer. It's furthermore oftentimes inaccurate as you may have seen. Personally, I'm quite against follower notifications too. "x has just subscribed!" is not only distracting and ham-handed, but you are by definition catering to validation/attention/dopamine of both that individual viewer and your own.

It's well at the point where with Twitch: 1. folllow for "say my name", 2. spend 300 points on hydrate stretch headpat, and 3. fuck off immediately to the next nice-sounding voice.

I would say you probably also select higher quality 0 views than is average. They are probably not quite representative of the average 0 view. Most probably have it harder just because they are less good at streaming, there really is a huge variance in streamer quality at the 0 view level and this can result in wildly different rates of growth.

By the way, are you watching females or males? The differences in 0 view female growth and 0 view male growth is hard to overstate, and personally I am more talking about the male experience.

If the collector is an artisan then it might be justified but if they are doing it on the side with minimal investment besides purchasing models then it might not be justified. I get the concept for the schedule, but it's a bit hard to read. I'd use a different template that gives you room to add the images you want and expand the text out till it's about 30px from the rightmost hand so it can be read from a distance. I'd also have your model facing more towards the camera instead of the eyeline being off-center.

They do their best to minimize dead space through gradients and color blocking. The goal of a schedule is for your viewers to take one look and understand.

I'd take a look through other schedules and see which resonates the most with you, and try to note down specific elements to add to your own.

Don't feel like you need to hype up an event such as a stream with just text tweets before it happens. Show the process of you setting it up and give context to make people excited.

Keep your timeline more clean. Right now, it feels like a fan account rather than you. It takes a while to scroll to see what you like. Also, create more fan content for the people that you like. Your face doesn't have to be in it for it to be worthwhile!

When you tweet about games that you like or your accomplishments, why do you do that? It feels like you do that because it's what you see other streamers do and get engagement on, but the reason that happens is because they have the following to where a lot of that engagement is from viewers who went on that journey with them and people who want their attention.

For going live tweets, put links in the reply and use an image to get more attention. I recommend thumbnails because it makes your future VOD uploads easier. For thumbnails, use the free guide at https://thumbnail.world/ to get a better idea of what you want to do.

So I have an older account that has a lot of content on it that's upwards of 8-9 years old in some cases. I started streaming again a few months back and got affiliate, so that's cool. I have a small number of subs and some regulars that hang out. Really nice lowkey-ish setup.
The thing is, I'm kinda interested in becoming a vtuber (probably just a PNGtuber to start). Obviously the first thing I want to do is check with my viewers and see if they're down with it, but what would you think as a new viewer if you saw some tuber and they had older pre-model videos (not even the 8-9 year old ones, but even just ones from just like a week before they 'debuted' when they're no-camming)? How would I go about the transition from something like "ttv/gamermaster420" to "BobbyVtuberCh"? I don't want to start all over given the progress I've made. People emulate the things they like and eventually transition away from that once they have a solid base. The model VTubers start with is not typically the model they end with.

For VRC streamers, it varies: Filian's model is a foxgirl base with no modifications, and a lot of streamers get big and then transition over with a proper debut once they have the following. It's better to be "that person who's street mona" than "that... uh... blue haired girl?" for name recognition, especially if they aren't too focused on doing off-platform content since growing on Twitch alone is miserable but that seems to be their current strat.

I'd suggest getting an editor and focusing on ways to grow off-platform in the long run, but the Twitter needs to be pitch-perfect first.

So, as I said before, the Mona model doesn't really matter right now -- it's the least important thing for them to work on.

Your twitter is sick. Very few changes necessary besides working on thumbnails a little more. Make yours stand out and you'll get more traction.

Honestly, your content's pretty good too. You've streamed out the nerves and you put in your hours on stream. You have your niche, you have your brand, you have your content. Thumbs up.

I have three pieces of advice:

1) Reach out to other people who love retro content and ask for a collab. It's a cool niche.

2) Hire an editor. If you love glass cutting, make something! If you love romhacks, center a stream around discussing your favorites or how a romhack is even possible, edit down that segment, and then post that content wherever people want to see it. Look at https://www.youtube.com/c/KKClue for inspo on that. I'd also try and build up a presence on TikTok since it's really easy to get new blood.

3) Stay away from here! Go!! You have a future, so go out and talk to people that genuinely want to see you succeed and be successful.

I think you should play on whatever you have available. LCD and LED monitors are obviously just fine, some are even great. I just like keeping a PVM (an SSM actually, but those are less well-known and it has the exact same tube as a PVM) because I like how old games look on CRTs and play all of my old games on my old consoles. They're also easy to capture footage from since I can snake an extra S-video or BNC composite cable out of the back of it.
Under no circumstances should you pay over ~$150 for a CRT though; I'll say that much. Most nice consumer CRTS from Sony and JVC are also pretty on part with PVMs; they just have lower vertical line counts.
