Looked a bit at the website. Seems to be a japanese company that places huge emphasis on knowing japanese and spreading japanese culture for some reason. (no idea if sloth knows any japanese but maybe just wanting to learn is enough) At least one of their EN tallents seems to stream partially in Japanese.

The site, in English at least, honestly looks pretty unprofessional, I mean just look at the FAQ, kind of weird questions there for sure. This seems kind of common though with japanese companies who end up making English versions of their sites.

The most interesting thing, to me at least, is that they theoretically seem open to hiring males. Certainly a unique thing as far as very small EN opportunities go. Seems like maybe one of the talents is debuting with a new model, though if that was provided by the corp I sort of doubt. Most of the talents are relatively small, with some basically just starting out.

Looking at their japanese page things get a bit more interesting. They have a massive list of what I first thought were vtubers, but looking at a few of them they turned out to maybe just be models that the company had created? My japanese is not really good enough so I couldnt say. However they do have 3 actual japanese vtubers in a different catagory that seem to have just debuted on what appears to be a shared account (one is streaming right now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVaoIvXC7rw)), 2 of which are males(!), so maybe hiring EN males is more than just theoretical.

So yeah, personally I would not try to join, except maybe if you were a male who really really wanted to join a corp. Males, especially those with less than the amazing numbers/skills that niji or holo would require, dont have much to choose from so maybe it might be something to shoot for. Probably already having a good model and some knowledge of japanese would be greatly helpful.

I'll use this to illustrate a point. I've seen an incel hot take on Youtube before about women doing indie vtuber stuff and having any remotely sexual model. In the comments a lot of people agreed with him so it's not that he's just stupid but certain people can't see reality. His take was wrong because he said they were all doing it for easy money to con men out of their earned money and profit by being sluts with no effort. He missed the whole point and focused on what HE thought was important rather than even trying to consider their conscious or subconscious motives. Because most of them won't ever make their money back from what they paid for everything and those that make their money back and then make bank are an extreme minority. So much so that you would have to be actually mentally deficient if you got into it for the money let alone easy money. Because this incel content creator and all his fans were blinded by their incel seethe they could not see the flaws in their logic nor comprehend that there would be other reasons people become vtubers with pandering/sexual models. Because in the end the attention and the narcissism of feeling like you're special is a huge motive that can far outweigh the terrible math on their investment.

I would say if you want interact with your oshi (assuming they arent literally 100s of times bigger than you) you can try to ask them for advice since you admire them. Or maybe if you start getting a small audience you can raid them from time to time. I dont think its bad, as long as you are able to stroke their ego a bit or provide something to them. Usually ESL is fine as long as I can understand it without much difficulty. Once my brain has to spend a considerable amount of effort to understand what somebody is saying that is kind of the point where it gets annoying. However, some nationalities have much less appealing accents for whatever reason but I think which ones are appealing or unappealing differs from person to person. Personally I find Indian and Mexican accents gross (other spanish accents seem to be ok), but I also tend to dislike Indians and Mexicans so it is probably related.
