The thing normalfags and probably even Unicorns don't notice is that when you see someone being vocal in some comments or on a forum that's what's called a vocal minority. The majority of people will tune in and watch a stream, never interact with the community and will simply enjoy content at their leisure. Loud voices can affect them if the voices are loud enough, sure, but ultimately these people decide the date of your precious community. If they leave, they won't make some big speech about it. They won't become an anti and harass the streamer.

This is the key thing that normalfags do not understand. Just because the majority aren't openly displeased about something, it doesn't mean they aren't displeased. They can stomach some BS but when they hit their personal limit they'll be gone. Without a fucking word they'll hit unsubscribe and never look back. So it doesn't matter how much you rush to defend your oshi in the comments. It doesn't matter if you're able to stop the trolls and the shitposters and the unicorns. If common concensus among the silent majority is that the streamer is fucking up, they'll stop watching. Eventually they'll leave outright. This is how so many communities die. I've seen it happen to big ones and I'm seeing Hololive go down that path too. You have no control over it. It's fucked bro.
