What is usually the use case? Ive only seen it look better than live2d when the facial flexibility and tracking is incredibly accurate and has a huge range. Otherwise in terms of visual appeal i think it loses out to live 2d almost always.
Exception is stuff like unintentional charming jank like Mikos old model, or personality quirks like Marine liking to rock back and forth when shes doing zatsus. But she and gura (probably the same rigger/modeler) both have that toothy grin for some reason, i got used to marines one, that adds to the charm, but 2 chubas having it intentionally is too much.
Also i guess stuff like ringfit could use it, but thats full body tracking too.

On the topic, i love when vtubers, have the chat either to the side, or their tracking software off center, like miko having this sort off from down looking up view (at least in the old 3d), or Gura turning her head to read chat. I think that adds a lot to the character of the stream, some dynamism and motion and you can tell their glancing over. I think these little quirks are very charming.
This isnt Nade related, and probably not useful for asmr, more for gaming where the focus is elsewhere, just some thoughts.

That looks like the animated kino toe girl from that one artist. Stylistically, shaders and all at least from this lower resolution look pretty nice. At higher resolution the illussion of 2d could start to break once you see the polygon edges and shaders not being able to resolve some angles perfectly as a drawing would. But yeah some really amazing achievements in 3d looking like 2d recently. Like the newest Guilty Gear game looks amazingly like 2d.

But you can also see the polygon issue on this one, on curved surfaces especially, the sharp angles they create on whats supposed to be a round edge. In the future with enough computer power you could cram more polygons so that could resolve that and have it run in real time.
