Initially, my solution to this would have been simply to make the interior inaccesible jungle, but I looked at the climate. Nope.

Lean towards some sort of central government operating from Shangri-La (Kek) in the interior that basically has a deal where it gets profits and maintains shit like infastructure and the plantations. That's not a bad solution to this honestly, and you could have it be multiple of these if you wish.

Maybe the Pirate kings personal fleet is the central fleet. When the situation calls they would pool together their fleets and use it as a centralised, state own fleet. But nominally they are owned by the Pirate kings and raid for their own profit. The professional army would also be like the fleets owned by the pirate kings, other than acting as elites on ships like marines, they also helps the kings to guard the cities.

It's not rainforest-tier wet, but because of the elevation change, the drop in temperature results in a lot of rain and fog. In general, I would advise against trying to get more land, because that would, inevitably, start new timeloops, even if it was you, brosnanbros. Since you are an island, you could just make a request for a few small islands around the big one, which you are already getting on 3.0. There is also the small island to the northeast of you which you could claim, since it's a new addition.

I think it would depend on the time and their motivations, I could easily see them being rivals in terms of attacking each other for certain raiding routes but I could also see them temporarily uniting in order to assault the Black Fleet since they're a common enemy to pirates everywhere.
Also I've realized that a global war between holo and niji isn't optimal, or at least no longer optimal in the way it was previously envisioned. Instead, a global war between multiple different nations happening all at once simultaneously, is FAR more grand. I think a /hlg/ united army would still exist and it would probably still make an attempt at invading through /mhm/ and /ehe~/ but I think it would be much better if instead of that being a focus of the All Out War scenario it's instead a catalyst to dissolve the idea of corporate alliances as a reflection of how Hololive Reps in /vtwbg/ are no staying totally within their own territories as they did in the past and are now expanding outwards to make alliances with other corpos. The Niji invasion would probably go something like the irl crusades where the initial attempt is semi-successful but eventually, all occupying forces are forced to make a hasty retreat as the counter offensive essentially severs the invading force in half and annihilates the vanguard. A humiliating defeat that has a butterfly effect of undermining the alliances based solely on shared corporations which eventually leads to wars within the "Holoterritory" for historically tumultuous land

All in all, me thinks it quite good. It's a short little tale that knows what its aiming for and its what you'd expect from a bar in /ahoy/ and it tells you alot about them without needing to spell it out.
