Hey everyone! Clio here - I'll prove it by posting what my dinner is later (hint: it's Chicken Madras) :)
I haven't posted in this thread yet, or the previous one, as I was busy streaming and then looking after my dog/doing chores.
For the record - it is my first time playing Dark Souls, but that doesn't mean I've never seen any footage of the game before. It would be pretty hard to avoid any knowledge of the game when I've had friends play + I watch events like GDQ and other speedruns! I've also watched Elden Ring vids and have seen that you can fight/kill NPCs (someone called Patches), so it was a safe guess to think I can do it in DS1. Also, I'm pretty sure the souls games are very influential, and I've played more recent action RPGs that are kinda similar (BotW/Monster Hunter/does modern Assassin's Creed count?). I am finding the combat in DS1 a lot easier than those games but I assume that's because the game is older and less complex - literally all it has been so far is 'enemy swings weapon, dodge with iframes'. I do actually play video games guys!
