I come back from 10 days backpacking the wilds of Wyoming to 4 new Sora songs, neat. As the proud sorachad that I am I did bring my sizeable Sora plush with me backpacking, which rivals my switch and accompanying huge battery pack as the most frivolous thing anyone would take backpacking. But unfortunately my phone died a couple days ago and the photos are lost for now, maybe I can recover them when I go home in a few weeks.
Also unfortunately I'll probably be in the middle of nowhere for the concert and album release.

That's me. And nah I fell crossing a stream and dropped my phone, thought I lost it completely took me a few minutes to even find it. Know I should have turned it off until i could dry it but I couldn't afford to since I was on an off trail adventure and it was my only map. Died like an hour later, at least I only got a little bit lost.

Not really. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what I like about hiking and the like. Isolation and "getting away from it all" is definitely part of it but definitely not the main part, if it were Yellowstone wouldn't be my favorite national park. Theres also the sense of adventure and the feeling of accomplishment when summiting a peak or completing a tough hike. But I think my main goal is just seeing beautiful and/or interesting places. If I can combine this with my other hobbies then all the better for it. Some people read a book or fish or have friends to talk to with their downtime at camp (or on vacation or just in general) I play Pokémon, read manga, and listen to Sora songs.
