The main enemies of hunters are monsters roaming the dark forest, who are more ferocious than the average wildlife due to some kind of exotic substance in their blood and other similar bodily fluid. They’re more durable than most animals but their skins aren’t as hard as armor in most cases. Because of that, hunters’ weapons of choice are slashing weapons as large wounds inflicted on the monsters will weaken them through bleeding. It also makes harvesting their fluid through bitterbugs easier.
Bardiche and swordstaff will be the main weapons. Bardiche has a shorter shaft, which allows for better mobility and precision; Swordstaff has a longer shaft, which allows for longer reach and deeper penetration when thrusting. For some hunters, the long shaft also doubles as vaulting pole, allowing for extraordinary mobility and verticality. Due to the need for bleeding out the monsters, both weapons have long edges for slashing, and swordstaff has a wide blade to make piercing wounds larger.
Armor and shields are uncommon due to the raw strength of monsters rendering them ineffective. Gear made of monster parts is generally preferred due to their comfort and protection against the elements, as well as perceived intimidation factor and symbolism.
Ranged weapons are considered secondary due to the constitution of the monsters. Pelletbows are commonly used by bug tamers to guide their bitterbugs or spray irritants against monsters.
>Soldiers
The main enemies of soldiers are other humanoids. As their protection improves, slashing becomes ineffective compared with blunt and piercing damage. Bardiche still sees common use but the shaft tends to have sharpened tips for use against hardened targets. Swordstaff against armored opponents has narrower blade to fit between armor pieces easier, and the shaft length also diverges depending on whether the opponents are on foot or on horseback.
Some soldiers are specially trained to infiltrate enemy lines during contact to disrupt their formation. They’re often armed with short, specialised weapons against enemy legs and other underprotected areas. They might also ingest poison before combat to be used as a spitting weapon, making use of Palkyries’ immunity against certain poison and resistance against some others.
Armor is relatively common compared with hunters, but shield is preferred due to Palkyries’ lower resistance against blunt trauma. After the Great Uprising, armor becomes more commonplace as Palkyries have access to /vnug/’s manufacturing bases, although older forms of protection are still common.
Ranged weapons are used more commonly by soldiers than hunters. Short composite bows and crossbows are used to mitigate Palkyries’ shorter limbs, while pelletbows are sometimes used to inflict blunt trauma or to spray irritants and other substances against specific enemies. Since the introduction of gunpowder, firearms have become a common weapon in /vnug/ military, with bardiche modified to serve also as monopod for long guns.
>Fighting style
Palkyrie fighting style is generally more flourished than human due to Palkyries’ light weight compared with their muscle strength. This is most obvious among hunters when fighting against larger-than-life monsters. For soldiers, the need for formation leads to /vnug/ adopting shock tactics – Palkyries’ smaller size makes them harder to hit when approaching the enemies under the protection of shields, and their nimbleness helps them disrupt enemy lines once they engage. Palkyries can better utilize their traditional fighting style once they break down enemy lines, and they prefer using wider sweeping motions to trip their taller foes.

at the moment all worshippers outside our Horsemen are just labeled as workshops with different beleifs and dieties. so basicly worshippers of mint could for example specialize in cooking utensils

It's a nice start. Could get even more in depth with the shape of the polearms if you want but that's probably enough for now for the more martial side of the lore. Though personally don't see why there would be a distinction of shaft length between anti-calvary and infantry polearms though. There could be some anti-calvary specialists but for a less organized fighting force like the Palkyries the polearms most likely serve double duty. The reach of polearms is a big advantage in fighting against infantry.

For the shape of the pole-arm I think they’re actually fairly consistent between usages. The main difference’s probably that hunter swordstaff has a wider blade while soldier swordstaff is more similar to partisan. I imagine variations within weapon types are probably either too personalized to have a general statement, or are more dependent on the source of the blade during Mujigae administration since many /vnug/ weapons at the time would be made by salvaging Mujigae blades

Of course, we're diligent culinary scientist. Aside from the walrus fat delicacy, I've been wanting to create plants and animals as a result of /ag/'s intense architecting of the island. The other architect entries list corn and basedbeans as one of our natural crops so corn syrup products, cornbread products, and corn flour products are being used to their fullest extent. Lobsters and other sea life are also big too for sea side feasts but I want to expand on the other wildlife before I actually get into that.

There's some parts of /ag/ lore that I don't want to make exactly specific but I think the whole "/ag/ uses whales as spies and communicates with them" partially resulted in a large pod of whales pushing a floating ice berg far enough to be picked up by the waves and sent to /ag/. I have lots of ideas for genetically bred creatures and naturally occurring animals, manatees that have been bred to be like pets that can travel on land as well as water, large flightless birds that use their colorful plume to daze predators, volcano goats that are prowling about the central mountain. Lots and lots of possible stuff, its partially why I really dislike how /ag/ is presented in lore as having already destroyed most of its ecosystem, I'd much rather it be something that is threatened and that half of /ag/ is trying to prevent while another half is uncaring about.

Now, I think personally we need to get a time mapped out. I think the idea location is likely somewhere in Syrenia or Eliria. That sort of goes against what NijiEN does as a whole. Aside from your typical catalogfags, most of us end up fighting each other rather than holos. That's why I set up things the way I did, as a way of showing the dynamics of NijiEN. Alice would play villain but the reality is she has a lot of other projects going on so I strongly urge against this despite her likely accepting. Let's not over work her.

As for Tonya, rep’s idea is her country being the biggest within the Indie Kingdom since she’s the most talked about vtuber in the thread outside nijiKR and /vnug/, although Isegye’s way more popular elsewhere. Tonya also streams mostly in English AFAIK and seems to be reasonably close to Liora, which is probably why she got assigned to /vnug/-adjacent position. As for where Tonya’s land should be, it’ll probably be on Indie-/vnug/ border, although I don’t know if it should be on the east or west. West is closer to /vnug/’s heartland, but east has the boreal forest that might be more hospitable for smilodons

I think a defending Holo force would stop a niji invasion quickly since most of the holo nations have specialized in defense but also, I want Holonations to be more proactive in terms of international relationships, they have a tendency towards passivity and maintaining the status quo. This has indirectly made niji writers seem intrusive and rude when in actuality alot of what they do makes for interesting read. I think a good war will let alot of Holo writers that want to be proactive but don't feel its appropriate in lore, be proactive.
