Personally I think Fauna has her ear to the ground and realizes that this is a golden opportunity to stand out from the crowd by doing something different (i.e. not collabing), but I doubt she's against it on principle or anything.
As for EN3, Fauna has the most loyal fanbase out of Council. (It's not the biggest, but her core audience always shows up, no matter what.) I don't think she has much to worry about on that front. I'd be more worried for Bae honestly.

Getting a large GFE fanbase is much easier than getting a large "normal" fanbase. The advantage of the latter is that they won't leave in droves when there's an indication of a boyfriend or similar. (Hell, Fauna has been doxxed since debut, so anyone who gets in at this point knows what they're in for.)

What a GFEvtuber like fauna provides is a shared illusion, where for a few hours a day (lmao as if en could be bothered to stream at all) they pretend to be an anime character and banter/act cute with a personified amalgamation of strangers online (chat). But the illusion only works if both sides play along. Fauna does this by not mentioning and interacting with male talents, and acting affectionate and loving towards the audience. The audience must engage with the talent (merch, memberships, active in community) and know the boundaries. Even if she has a partner, those who were the most intimiatlly invested with her, already knew that and were at the very least ok with it happenening or they wouldn't be her fans to begin with, and respect and still interact with the GFE illusion being provided. When a male talent comes into this illusion, it breaks down. Becuase he essentially temporarily takes the role of chat in the relationship. Having direct banter, attention, and communication with the talent, stealing (or 'cucking') the role of the audience. So naturally those emotionally invested fans would be upset at being temporarily replaced with another person who has access to their desired idol in a way that they realistically never will, thus breaking the illusion completely. This is why people leave when male collabs are mentioned. It completely destroys the shared illusion in a way that can never be repared, as the lingering wound and feeling of being backstabbed remains. Its direct comparison would be cheating for normal relationships. Where one of the partners goes to an outside person for something the other couldn't provide (In this case for more exposure with a male collaboration, or because they enjoy his company). Its all volatile because with the introduction of males, who are here to stay (with more gens of en stars coming) the lingering doom is over the heads of many invested fans, and thus leads to irrational emotional outrage. To conclude, male collabs break the illusion and purpose many people watch streams to begin with, and the lingering feeling of wondering when it may happen is daunting to many, and thus they want security with a talent who won't betray their shared illusion.

As for being questioned or being called names its a simple as dealing with the stars, ignore it. If you don't give their criticism and comments the light of day it will go nowhere and nothing will change.
